Comment:

She was such a great teacher for Stretch 1, that I registered her for Stretch 2. As an adult student, I hadn't taken math in over a decade. She helped me relearn and learn new stuff. Take notes. She'll give partial credit on tests if you show detailed work. She worked with me when I was out of the country so I could complete work. Total sweetheart!

Comment:

Class was 50 minutes, mon-wed-fri: this schedule doesn't suit her teaching style at all. She tries to cram a lecture and a quiz/activity into nearly every class period, which makes things unhelpfully fast-paced and miserable. The class should be an hour and 15 mins, 2 times a week. Her notes are sloppy and homework load is huge. She's nice though.

Get ready to teach yourself. She does fly through notes but overall she does her best to help when you need it. Not as bad everyone made her out to be.

This woman would talk for 35-40 mins each class and give up 10-15 mins to do a 12 question quiz at the end and makes things so confusing to keep up with her notes. You will have homework 3 times a week and will learn more by doing them than going to class but you have to come to class to get points and do in class quizzes.

Comment:

Worst professor I ever had. She pre-writes her notes and speeds through them in class. She'll also give you a 10 question quiz with 20 minutes to work directly after. I've heard her laugh at students who cry about their grade and told me my dentist visit wasn't a University excuse, though it is. She's also very socially awkward and unhelpful.

One of the worst professors I have ever had. Gives quizzes and homework daily. Lectures are unclear and confusing. Very tough grader, if you don't show the work the exact way she wants it, you will get it all wrong. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Not a fan on this professor. I usually am a good math student but she made this class very difficult for me. She lectures the entire class and goes through the problems without explaining them. Its very frustrating. A lot of homework online, if you don't get a 90% or above its a 0/3. Homework has 20-35 problems so to only get 3 points is annoying.

Math classes in general tend to come with a lot of homework, but expect to be working on homework almost every day for this class. Lectures were not very helpful for me. Notes are required to be taken before class on your own. Quizzes almost daily.

Very socially awkward. She has the mic so close to her mouth you can hear the moist noises in her mouth and her breathing over the lecture. I f you have your work done early and leave early, she will take away all of the points you would've earned from the work as well as the attendance points. If you don't show work like she wants, you fail.

Its an online class but taught by Kellerman. She doesn't know how to communicate with people and is very socially awkward, but if you need help she is there without having to beg.

I'm not over exaggerating when I say that if you skip class you will not pass. We have a reading quiz or group quiz every. Single. Day. And unless you have an actual excuse, you can't make it up.

Comment:

One of my favorite math professors at Kent. If you are a person who is fine with teaching themselves you will be fine. I did not listen to a single lecture, but I got an A+ by simply writing examples from mymathlabs instead. Her expectations are extremely clear and everything is online. If you pay attention to the homework examples you'll be fine.
