I don't even know what to say. It's just so much work and she does not teach. Legit one-day she's like "you should be halfway done with the book" and NO ONE in the class read cuz we had no IDEA. Grades super hard, I don't even know what else to say. SHES BAD. DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE. DONT TAKE HER.

Comment:

Would not recommend this teacher only because I feel like she only puts half the effort in. Never puts grades in and never gives us access to the assignment that we only have a week to do. She doesn't know how to use canvas. I've had to email her multiple time on things that were her fault.

Comment:

The ONLY thing giving me the grade I want in this class is the extra credit. She is late to class every single time, she doesn't answer any important questions we have. When we ask her she just says it's up to us to figure things out, responds to emails very late, inconsiderate of student's time. She's a nice woman but a bad professor in ENGL104H.

Do not take this class. Communication with professor is unhelpful. Lesson modules are unorganized and can be confusing to navigate. There are no personalized feedback, refers you to a rubric. Grading on timed essays are really heavy. Those who struggle with writing on timed essays, will struggle to fulfill her standards in the allotted time.

Online communication was untimely and super unorganized. Makes you turn in homework to both turnitin and canvas platforms; excessive and unnecessary. Grades papers with no personalized feedback, instead directs you to a rubric. There are no curves to the class so she grades individuals ability to follow syllabus. Do not take as a online class.

One of the worst graders i have ever had at cypress college. She just copies and paste the same things on each of the essay's that you submit, not providing clear feedback. She also doesn't round grades. Overall her online class is very unorganized, lacks the proper feedback. Long story short if you're looking to improve as a writer, don't take it

The class was very lecture heavy, but she managed to make it very interesting. She didn't seem like she would be nice at first, but she was actually one of the nicest professors I've ever had. The class was an easy A with barely any homework.

Amazing professor! I took her over summer, graded very quickly, clear rubric, decent amount of assignments to get your grade. You def have to put in the work, but I got an A and I never read more than the summaries of the assigned readings. Super do-able, work load was not bad even over the 6-week summer. She responds quick if you have questions.

I'm surprised there aren't any reviews for her!! She's such an amazing teacher. Really passionate and knowledgeable about art history. Not much homework, and yet a lot of extra credit options. I thought the class was going to be boring, but I learned a lot, and it was actually a really fun class. If you need this class, take it with her!!

She was such a pleasant professor to have. At first, I was a little intimidated by her and the work load of the course but she ended up being the most approachable professor and ACTUALLY wants to see you do better. I am so glad I decided to take this course because she takes your reading and writing skills a level higher than engl 100. take her!

She was moderately difficult, but I'm confident that if anybody puts in the effort, then they'll get an A. I managed to get by with an A without buying any of the books, though I would still highly recommend buying them in order to be in sync with the class. Professor Nabahani is pretty friendly and lenient, so you should feel comfortable with her.

You have to read a lot in her class! Discussion post and timed essays are also important. She seems like a sweet person who gives good feedbacks regarding our assignments. Her class policy is pretty strict, so make sure to follow the syllabus!

Course consisted of learning how to critically analyze literature then using those skills for the novels Jane Eyre, Frankenstein, and Dracula. Weekly quizzes/discussion boards and 6 essays, 2-3 pages each. Professor Nabahani was organized with the lectures & assignments, making it easy to follow. She also provides thorough feedback for your essays.

Overall a good teacher. Responded to all of my emails. It was a lot of reading. I could have gotten an A if I would have put in the effort, but I hate poetry and hated reading it. What I didn't like were the timed exams. You weren't allowed to view the question before hand without starting the exam. Get ready to read in this class.

Took Engl 102 online in summer. It's definitely not an easy A, possibly because it was a 5 week course. You must be a great writer to get an A. I did not like the 2 hour timed essay exams which you cannot know the topic question until you actually start the exam. It would have been better if essays were reviewed before turning it in and not timed.

One of the greatest teachers I have had the pleasure of taking! If you want to take your writing to the next level, she is undoubtedly the teacher to have. I took her for 100 and 104, she made English engaging, and accessible. Trust in her, she will make you a better writer, and a better student for life.

Comment:

Loved her AND the class! Several reading materials, homework assignments, group discussions, seminars, and essays but you learn a lot. Really honed my writing skills and she grades based on the effort she sees from you. You get along with everyone and she is just so bubbly and joyful everyday! (And her outfits are always on point!)

Took English 60 online and was the best decision ever. Easy assignments and work. Simple 5 paragraph essays with weekly discussions and small assignments. Responds to email fairly fast and was very sincere and kind. Definitely one of the best professors.

Took her online English 104 and then later took her Personal Statement class. So helpful, genuine, charming and passionate! 104 required complete reading of Frankenstein, Jane Eyre, and Dracula with analysis assignments. Fairly simple, but time consuming and a bit stressful due to short time given. The cutest woman ever, seriously. Easy A.

the class is absolutely boring . she reads her lecture off a paper like if its recited or practiced. she is a really tough grader on essays but leaves you a letter explaining why she gave you that grade she literally gives you a long list of books you need to buy i spent so much on these books and im poor
