Comment:

Michael is SUCH a nice guy, but he really doesn't bring a lot of energy to his classes, and makes interesting material seem dry by assigning robotic, pedantic assignments. Has good intentions, and is helpful when sought out, but leaves a bit to be desired.

Comment:

In Counseling and Psychotherapy, it's really valuable to have someone with years of first hand experience leading the class. He is a great teacher and uses real-life examples and class activities to illustrate the theories he teaches.

he would give u a really good grade if he likes you. i had a really bad semester with him. there were at least 5 students failed his class. not because we didn't work hard, we read all books, went to every class, write all the paper, even you do all of them, u still can't understand the questions of his exam.

Michael is my favorite professor in all of Earlham. Even though he looks terrified half the time, you can still tell he loves teaching. He also seems to get a sick pleasure out of us being wrong and sometimes saying "sex." I -will- hug him before I leave this school!
