Ana Maria is the one of the most inspiring professors that I have ever encountered. She is motivating, supportive, and deeply caring about the progress of her students. She is really one of the most fantastic teachers that I have had the pleasure to work with. I look forward to being challenged by her again in the program.

In all of my years of school, I've never had a teacher as good as Dr. Villegas. Always prepared, runs a fantastic class, and gets to know her students unlike any professor I've had. Gives great feedback on writing assignments...I could go on all day about how amazing she is...an absolute master of the teaching craft. If you can, take her class!

One of the best experiences I've had in any school. Very prepared and organized. Very intelligent and knowledgeable. Shares a lot of my views and helped me out a great deal in figuring out what I wanted to do with my life.

Dr. Villegas is teaching a section of Education in the Inner City this spring. IF YOU ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE THIS COURSE, IIMEDIATELY ENROLL IN DR. VILLEGAS' SECTION. She is amazing! She will challenge you, cause you question everything you have come to believe about education. You will leave the class twice the teacher you were when the class began.

I was also placed in Dr. villegas' seminar class. She is everything a teacher should be - thorough, caring, challenging, personable. Best of all, she wants you to succeed in the teaching profession. She provides you with all of the tools to be successful.
