Took her class during summer online. Was very easy, got an A just by watching her lectures which are offered as extra credit. The exams were not too hard, I recommend reading the book since her accent is sometimes hard to understand. Gives really good feedback, and listens to her students! Overall would take if you want an easy A.

You work in teams the majority of the time and do i/trats along with a group project at the end. Must participate and attend class, has random in-class assignments that can't be made up and worth lots of points.

Monica (as she preferred to be called) has very high expectations. She had in-class group assignments nearly every class period, the opposite of what she had said at the beginning of the semester. Make sure you do all of the TopHat, as it will really help you at the end of the semester if you are just a few points away from a better grade.

Her lectures are so boring. My only motivation to go was the extra credit TopHat and occasional random in-class assignments. Her exams are poorly weighted. Most of her exams were worth 240 points for 40 multiple choice questions. She has extra credit, but it's pretty worthless with how heavily weighted the exams were.

Not my favorite class. She has a thick accent. If the class isn't prepared to discuss, she tends to get pissy. Up to 25 points of extra credit. If you get a crappy group for the project, you're kind of screwed. 5 iRats and tRats throughout the semester. Pretty boring lectures if you aren't doing an activity that day. You also HAVE to participate

This course should not have been so difficult. Professor Gordillo's teaching style is unique, this was a class of 150+ and she was very active in interacting with her students. She can be difficult to understand at times and the material is never really as clear as it should be. In-class assignments were like pop quizzes, never given a heads up.

She is a really great teacher another example of if you do your best and listen you will get a good grade. There are a lot of terms and concepts you have to know for the test. Make a quizlet and study it twice a week and you will have an easy B or A. Also there is extra credit if you come to class and answer top hat questions correctly.

Class is a breeze, if you show up for in class assignments and extra credit top hat questions, and review vocab terms before exams you will get an A. Very nice woman but it is very easy to space out during her lectures.

She's a great teacher. If you take the time to study casually for this class you'll do great. She does not handout A's but with that being said if you don't get atleast a B- in her class you might want to consider a different major.

Didn't learn anything useful really. The tests are easy, however be careful because if you miss a few questions it heavily impacts your grade. You CAN skip class; however you'd miss out on the Tophat extra credit (10 points boosts your grade 1%). Also, beware of skipping because there's 4 group assigns worth 15 pts and missing one will drop 1.5%.

She is knowledgeable about the material, but disorganized. Lectures are hard to follow, and tophat is only used for extra credit. It's easy to skip, but she assigns groups at the beginning of the sem and throws random large point group projects in randomly. Tests are really heavy point-wise, but not too hard to study for with the book and quizzes!

The class is straight-forward. Show up, pay attention, study for quizzes and tests and you will do fine. The content is interesting but you definitely need to read the book in order to fully understand the material. Overall, I would take the class again as there are group projects and is an interactive class. Makes the class go by fast!

If you don't read the textbook word for word, you won't do well on the exams. You have to know everything before the exams a week prior, because there are individual and team IRats that cover the textbook also. Always in class assignments, so if you skip you lose many points. Honestly wouldn't recommend her to anyone. Sooo much info in one class.

My class was online and it was pretty easy. Worst part was having to watch the several 40 minute lecture videos each module (which are graded). Assignments were easy and quizzes/exams weren't bad as long as you looked over the powerpoints. She gives several extra credit opportunities.

Professor Gordillo was a fine instructor. The class was super boring no matter how hard she tried to make it be interesting. Puts students in teams for the whole semester. Uses TopHat for extra credit. Random team assignments throughout the semester, so go to class just in case. Nice woman, doesn't have good grammar and it shows on exam questions.

This was a team based learning class.. iRat/tRats and group assignments & project. She takes attendance & has group assignments almost everyday so you can't skip. She is a good lecturer & gives great examples which makes it easy to learn. Easy tests, not terrible project. I would recommend Monica b/c she is super nice and sweet.

Show up to class and pay attention and get an A. She periodically does Top hat and in class assignments for credit, so don't miss those. One of the easier classes I have taken in college that many people fail because they don't try at all. Some group work. Dismiss early every day since it's a 1.5 hour class. Read the book to do well on exams.

She is a good professor. If you're considering skipping class, just go to class and do homework in the back, Top Hat questions are randomly worth extra credit. Quizzes and exams are super easy but the extra credit will be required to get above a B+ since it's easy to lose points on them. Missing two questions is worth 1% of your final grade...

Only reason to show up for lecture is for the top hat which is all EC and the 10pt group questions she'll randomly assign about 1 in every 8 lectures. At home online quizes and testing center exams that are horribly worded. Buy the book and read all the chapters because quizes/exams are exactly out of there. She also drops your lowest exam score.
