I've never had so many all-nighters in a course! The amount of work entailed in this course should equal a full credit, not half of one. Even those in my class with only 1 or 2 other courses struggled to keep up. She is a super kind, understanding lady but she gives far too much work. Mixed feelings about taking another course with her.

Monica is amazing! Gives really personalized feedback based on your level of skill and commitment. Her classes really let anyone thrive no matter how experienced they are in the medium. But if you want to do really well be aware you're going to have to put in a lot of studio time.

She is very helpful at critiques, will allow you to go back and work on art that has already been marked as long as you improve on it. She is overall A GREAT art teacher. I highly recommend her for painting classes, it is a lot of work and is time consuming though.
