He is all over the place, difficult to understand during his lectures. Can't argue any of your grades, not very accessible. If there's an issue with your final grade, he jets off to India at the end of the semester and won't answer emails .Exams are really easy just listen to what's in it during the reviews. Bad professor but an easy A

Easy class. You really do not need the textbook-the powerpoint slides are enough. You do not need to pay attention to class but pay attention to the slides the day before a test or quiz. He can be a bit vague at times so make you sure you ask him as many questions to get clarification. Also, make sure he marks you for attendance.

Dr. Ghani is confusing at times. He will say one thing, but he means another. His class is simple and easy, so you dont need his help to pass. If you read the powerpoints, youll ace all the quizzes and tests.

I'm an international student and he keeps calling my name wrong because of his accent and I never understand and mark as absent. I always need to go check back with him if he mark me present and needs to show proof that I was in the class. He did not grade my final research paper and took off to vacation and gave me F. He never reply your emails.

I took this class because I thought it would be interesting. Dr. Ghani ruined it. His lectures are incredibly boring and pointless. He reads straight from the textbook, and when you ask him a question, he tells you to go look it up. He serves no purpose as a professor and to top it all off, is an unfair grader. I regret taking a class with him.

very organized in his thoughts, however easily loses train of thought causing him to constantly look back at his notes. Tests conists of conversations in class and whats in the book. As long as you participate, you'll do real well.

horrible professor, I participated did well on the tests and papers, and he knocked my grade from a B which was what I deserved to a C because I "didn't participate" even though I really did...he was just to oblivious to know his students names don't take his class

Ghani is ridiculous. I thought he was nice and felt sorry for him at first but after suffering through his deadly boring class all semester, participating when no one else did, and acing his midterm I still wound up with a crappy B+. I learned nothing.

Took him for into to sociology. LOVE THIS GUY. If you take notes and pay attention in class you'll do fine on his tests. They're directly from what he talks about and puts on the board during class. He's ALWAYS willing to help you. Very nice and extremely reasonable.

He is a very nice professor. Whenever I need help, he is always there. His class is very interesting, and he has a knowledge of the whole world. He is very experienced, and this makes his class fun. Prof ghani is one of the worst professors I have ever had. he clearly has no knowledge that extends beyond what you can read in the textbook. when students asked questions in the class he often could not answer them and his accent doesn't help. if you don't care about learning anything, take ghani

He is such a great professor. He really has the world's experience and the ability to teach well. I would recommend taking him if you like to be challenged and want to leave class knowing something that you can take with you for the rest of your life. He gives one paper at the end of the semester.

Prof. Ghani's class is horrible. It's boring. He gets tired of his own lectures. His class is extremely easy because his test are straight from the book and pretty much common sense. I wouldnt recommend him if you want to learn anything. Also, his accent is very hard to understand.

Great guy. Super super sweet. I agree with the rest that he is boring but I've had worse. he really trys to get the class involved and you can tell he really cares. His tests are so easy and he lets you use notes. Take him so Soc 004.
