This prof is approachable and nice. However, often her explanations during lecture seem unprepared. She was not clear or thorough, and when she quickly explained the complex material I really struggled to understand. In class she used no pictures and did little extra to help students grasp the theory.

For Nicole's classes you NEED to pre read all the material and essentially know it all before you go to class. She asks the students for lots of input which can be unhelpful at times when its a hard or confusing question. Her lectures require a lot of supplemental reading.

Nicole is not a great teacher but she does make the lectures funny. She flies through very important parts of lectures when the class is collectively very confused by the topic. The tests are never a test of knowledge, mainly tricky.

Studied very hard for the exams but they were all still very difficult. Her lectures were decent. She added humour, which kept me awake. Even though she was a pretty good prof, I liked Peggy better (they alternated lectures throughout the semester) because I found that Peggy explained things much better.

Hard class but fair. Follow her directions and you'll be fine. She's a wealth of knowledge, both about health assessment and the profession of nursing. I would take another class with her.

Very good professor, knows her stuff. Very helpful, quick to email students back. Make sure you read the textbook though. Do not just study from the class notes, read every chapter she assigns!! Also, know your definitions (from both the sheet and the textbook). Not too hard of a course, but you have to study.

She is extremely knowledgeable about nursing practice, as well as physical assessment. Her classes go by quick and she shares a lot of personal experiences which is great. You have to read the textbook word per word though for health assessment. Also her exams are not worded very well(for skills as well) but still a very good prof,very approachable

Excellent teaching style, keeps your interest with humour and relating material to her personal experience. Textbook is a must have. She does not spoon-feed you, you have to work = Read! Most of the whiners in class are kids wanting to be spoon-fed. Encourages class participation. Three hour lecture goes by fast. Overall Excellent!

Nicole is a good teacher. She's helpful outside class too. You have to put the work in to make the class make sense and get a good grade. I think those negative people probably got a bad grade and should probably blame themselves instead of the prof. Its university kids...mom and dads not here to help when it gets a bit tough. THINK!!!!!!!!!!!

do not take ANY class with her. She ingrains PHIA into you then breaks it in the most unacceptable ways. She talks about students to other profs/people, says what will be on the exam and then COMPLETELY changes it, picks favorites, and does absolutely nothing to encourage or motivate. She is a very mean and inconsiderate person.

I love Nicole's teaching style. Classes go by so quickly and she keeps student interest by illustrating course material with examples she has experienced. Has little tolerance for lazy students but if you're willing to put the work into the class you will get a lot out of it! Overall one of my favortie profs.
