Straight Up, he isnt a good prof. Said he teaches this course because it isnt a lot of work. Couldnt care less about students. Very annoying accent.

He really isn't willing to help students outside of class. He will only write on the board and you have to copy them. H e wont upload his lecture notes so if you copy something wrong that's about it. If you go to him during office hours he will not explain it to you. 4020 is a very difficult course itself, it's not fair to not offer help.

Only take him if you are good at math. Lots of unnecessary derivation. By the time as he finished deriving we did not know what concept we were learning. Study from problem sets, and examples in class. He is also not accessible outside of class. If you struggle with calculus, run away.

Typical York professor doesnt really care about students, his classes are extremely boring (just writes in the board and assumes you understand even if you ask a question he will not explain or he will repeat the same thing), IF YOU CAN AVOID HIM!!!

Great prof, explains the material quite well but the lectures are a bit boring. He takes the time to go over exams after he hands them back to check mistakes as the exams are cumulative. Although attendance is not mandatory it is recommended as he values effort at the end of the year.

He's a good lecturer. The course can be hard, depending on how you study. He likes to give cumulative test, so the test can surprise you. But the problem is that he doesn't care much. He doesn't want to chat with students in office hours, directs you to the TA. He's rude about reference letters, even though they take 20 sec to get done. Be careful.

Great proff. Loved him. Econ 4020 is a hard class to begin with, he made it just a little bit harder, but fantastic proff, learned so much in his class. People that dislike him are the students that don't study, and expect to get an A without putting in the work....

Took his 3 tests without attending any of his classes. The tests were very fair, he tested sorely on whether you know the concept or not. a lot of math involved, but it's all proof so there are no numbers involved. I wish I had him for other classes too.. He was one of the best profs at York. I believe I got around B+.

Tbh, he is a good professor. Just pay attention do your own summaries for each topic and you will do good. The first 2 midterms are WAY easier than the final. If you are good at math, take this class. If you are not, think about it twice. Got an A+.

He has no interest in teaching, nor does he care about his students at all. When people try to ask him questions before/after class, he says that he has NO time whatsoever and wants to leave lecture ASAP. No wonder York scores so low in econ ranking.

Pros: No textbook required, goes thru a lot of math practice questions slowly and they usually show up on midterms. Answers emails very quickly, no final exam. Cons: tests are difficult because they are out of 12 marks so 3 wrong answers and already less than a B+, must not fall behind

Amazing Prof. You must have basic knowledge on calculus though. No textbook required. All you have to do is attend the classes and take notes. Very easy exams. I am an average student and I managed a B+ with almost no effort

Excellent professor, he helps you to deep your understanding in calculus. He combines economics and calculus and has an unique and clear teaching style. not even Adamopoulos teaches as well as him, Very smart and clear, his notes are the best tool to get an A+ in his class.

Funny to see the comment below, I guess I'm not alone here. Think he's a good prof IN the classroom, and he will help outside with the material if you need it. But, sir, I think you probably read these because even though you act like you don't care you probably do. I got an A+ in your class, but you're the reason I won't apply to York for MA.

I don't really get it. I was friendly, and performed well, yet prof still acts like he has 0 time for me. He tries to front, but he's a typical York prof, and part of the reason I hate this school.

Great Professor. Knows what he is talking about. As long as you know basic maths that is expected of an econ student and attend his lectures you ll get an A for sure if not an A+.I would say people who are really bad in calculus or do not attend classes would fail this course.Make sure you solve the past exams and mid-terms.

This is someone who has little or no interest in teaching the students. I must agree that his is ignorant, arrogant, someone without a consciences, and perhaps sadly will never change. Never have I written any exams with little weight-average, no theory concepts, but only calculus. It is not recommended to take this teacher, if you can avoid it.
