Comment:

Professor Sherman is the best law professor I've had in my 2.5 years at Nassau. She is thorough, and knowledgeable. You get a real life law experience being in her class as she tells you how it will really be as a paralegal. I respect her immensely and i'm very glad I had her because I have the knowledge to show for it now.

Great class!!! Learning so much about disability law but in a fun way. Best online teacher there is. Assignments are doable and interesting. Quizzes from the chapter are easy. You can tell she cares about students wants us to learn and get good grades. I'm taking for any online class she does. Finally, a class you no what you got to do to get an A.

Comment:

Prof. Sherman was very helpful throughout the course. She was responsive to emails in a timely manner, which really helped. Participation and HW completion is key -- accounts for 70% of the grade! Tests were a bit difficult but definitely doable if you do the coursework. Business Law is complex but the textbook breaks it down and makes it easier.

Excellent. Great online classes. Strait-forward and you know what u need to do. If u ask a question or send an email she gets back right a way. Took a few and i'd take her for every online class I could. Easy A if you do what you're suppose to.

Very hard teacher, get ready to do loads of work. Make sure to take good notes, prepare alot for her tests. She gives homework almost every week make sure to turn it in. One midterm, if you fail that your done for the semester. Good Luck!

Real good for online class. It's easy to follow and you know what your suppose to do. 2 tests which are pretty easy if you did the reading and assignments. Most of grade is based on assignments. Definitely an excellent prof. She cares about students. Teaches lots of law classes & makes it interesting. She does real life stuff and how law applys to it. Helps you figure out NCC, helps with schedules, financial aid,even other classes, got aq problem, she's the go to person. She geniunely likes students, it shows. Best law class I took.

Very good professor and is willing to offer positive feedback to motivate you to either work harder or be consistent throughout the course. Homework assignments are demanding, but are absolutely integral to passing the course along with providing you a comprehensive knowledge on the material.

This class is a lot of work and assignments. But college is all about hard work, so stop complaining. 80% of her grade, if not more, based on HW assignments. 3 tests, I got all B's on the tests, but she still gave me an A, coz I did every single assignment. A lot of reading from the text book, all assignments from ?s in the end of assigned chapter.

GREAT PROF. I took her class b/c I was placed on remedial my first semester & boy did she help me. She guided us to right classes to take, helped us with how to do good in school. Was a hybrid course (1 week you go other week no go) so in class n online class. Best course. Now I no how to set my schedule just right & how to be in college. Easy A

I've had her for Law 301, 305,and 307. I will take her for any class I can. Whoever says she is a bad professor has to be lazy because she is amazing. She is a great professor and a wonderful person overall. She gives out tons of extra credit and her test are fair if you study. Textbook not neccesary except for Law 301 it is a must.
