Really easy class, just make sure you read the material before class as she tends to get quite angry and end class early if the class hasn't done the reading. Papers were really easy, really all you had to do is show up for the class and you likely got an A.

Great professor!!! The only down sides was the amount of writing and that you could only miss 1 class (otherwise your grade is dropped one letter). Teaches interesting theories and has great stories to tell. Very open-minded and helps students get the best grade they can.

awesmome prof. brings forth alot of ideas from texts. keeps class as intersting as possible and has alot of cool stories to back up what she says. we kinda write alot, but its an ENG class so expect it. i strongly suggest taking her. go to class, listent to lecture, read and write what ur supposed to, and its an easy A

Okay, this was a fun class. I already like to write and don't have a problem with MLA, so that wasn't new. Despite that, I learned a lot about critical theories. Ms. Cross is interesting and brings a unique perspective to the table. Nothing wrong with sharing experiences, especially when they're funny. Great class and geat instructor!

If someone has something negative to say about Professor Cross, it is because they closed their mind and learned nothing. She is a wonderful teacher with very advanced views on literature. Just as she is strict, she is a nurturer. She will go above and beyond to help her students advance in their own understanding. GREAT CLASS!

Prof. Cross is a nice woman, but she ISNT a good teacher. She doesn't actually teach, she watches us as we attempt to teach ourselves in our little groups, & spends the rest of class telling her life story. I'd have to say if you are an idiot, then you would love this class. I do all the reading/assignments, but I havent learned 1 thing this sem.

Ms. Cross is one great professor! She gives you lots of freedom to express your thoughts and views and guides you in your writing without telling you what to do. She is one of the most insightful people I have ever met. I have taken class with her twice and she has really helped me grow as a writer. Take this class if you can!

VERY INTERESTING CLASS. WHEN YOU WALK INTO THE CLASS THE FIRST DAY YOU GET A BIG SUPRISE. CLASS WAS BORING AT FIRST BUT IT GETS PRETTY INTERESTING. SHE GIVES A LOT OF PAPER ABOUT 5 AND THE A BIG RESEARCH PAPER AT THE END. ALL AND ALL I LIKED TO CLASS.

I loved Prof. Cross. She was hard at times, but she truly cares. After not having her as my prof. this semester I truthfuly wouldn't take another English class if she were not the Prof.
