She made a subject that I thought would be really interesting unpleasant to learn about. Unorganized; does not trust her students and accuses many of cheating. She lost my assignments and then failed me because she "never received them" and wouldn't accept them late (even though I already handed them in). Nice, smart lady, but the worst teacher.

She is such a sweet person. People complain about how hard she is, but really if you just apply yourself and read the textbook, you'll do fine. The extra credit points will save you on the exams!

Gerber made no sense! She puts sporadic words on the board and calls them notes. She also gave us tests that are ALL writing!!! They suck! And she lost my test and said i had to retake it! Yet she's the one that lost it... Do not take any classes with her!!!

Research Heavy. I have known very smart people that have failed her class only to get a 4.0 with another prof the next time and learn more and in an exciting way. Her style of teaching works for some. Usually those who are textbook hungry and don't like to think to far out of the box.

I had Dr. Gerber for honors L&S 2, and she was great. She lead discussions and enjoyed joking around with us. Admit L&S 1 was more boring, but she's so knowledgeable about the topic that she gets in her own little world. Very helpful and accomodating.

Very intelligent. If you can get over her voice and her ticks, do the reading, and listen to the lecture you should be fine. She thinks students are more interested in the subject than they ever really are.
