Dr. Cole definitely babies down the material for you to understand. She's exceedingly helpful in office hours and highly encourages you to come in with questions. Very smart lady, and makes it definitely possible to get an A by outlining all of the objectives for each unit. Know those and you're set!

She's a very helpful teacher. She puts you in groups so that you can work with other students on problems. There is a lot of homework but it really helps keep your grade up!

Dr. Cole really is a great teacher if you put back the effort as well. She uses mastering chemistry that is assigned each class, but you may always go back and complete missed assignments for almost full credit. Her tests are difficult only if you do not study the learning objectives she posts on blackboard, otherwise it is possibly to get an A! :)

She really knows her stuff, but her teaching methods were uneffective for me. She will lecture for a few minutes and then make you learn the rest yourself out of a work book with your group. Tests are hard.However, she is a nice lady and easy to track down for help.

I am an international student,my english is very bad. I always used to have problems in my writing works. I found her very helpful and cooperative and ideal. I strongly suggest her class she is not easy for teachers though.

Dr. Cole is one of the best teachers for Chemistry. I had her for both Chem 1 and 2, and I would highly recommend her to anyone. She is extremely helpful, always in her office, easily accessible. There is online homework assigned after every class, but nothing usually more than 5 problems that shouldn't take more than 15 mins.

I had her for chemistry 1 and 2. The material is somewhat difficult because it is chemistry, but overall she is a good teacher. She will help you with anything you have trouble with. There is online homework after every class period, but it is only a few questions that take maybe 30 min. She also goes over any questions you have about them in class

Dr. Cole is awesome! She loves to help, she makes things understandable, and she cares about her students. However, be prepared to do a lot of work. Homework is assigned daily and the tests can be difficult if you are not prepared.

Her problem is that she knows the subject so well that its hard for her to understand why her students dont understand the material. Make sure you read the textbook and study for her exams cause they are no joke.

I did not think she was a very good teacher. I would try to find a different teacher if at all possible. The only way to do well in the class is if you read every chapter at home. She doesn't really teach you anything so you pretty much have to read the book to pass the tests

I didn't take chemistry in high school, so I had lots of questions. But, all she would say is "Well, what do youthink the answer is? Why do think that's the answer?" I had no freakin' clue! I hated that class and it was because of her!

Dr. Cole is fabulous! I have never had a professor care so much about whether students know the information or not. Her door is always open, she answers emails, takes phone calls in addition to answering questions in class. I would not hesitate in recommending Dr. Cole to anyone who is willing to make an effort in order to learn material.

Dr. Cole is extremely helpful if you don't understand something. Don't be afraid to ask questions in this class as the subject matter can be difficult. I liked how she would let you interupt in the middle if you don't understand something before moving on. She has a special interest in how students learn and is willing to help you.

Dr. Cole is a good teacher, but her teaching is a little hard to understand sometimes. As long as you do the homework and make sure that you understand it, getting an A is easy. But she does assign homework over things that she didn't really teach, and that's what will get you in trouble.
