I took this class about a year ago. I loved his games! He does give a lot of terms, and this class is very challenging. The best way to pass this class is to attend all lectures, arrive to class on time, make flashcards for all terms, and study the way that he says to in the beginning of class. And then don't lose them! You'll need them later!

He's a nice guy and very helpful. The class is always fun. You learn a lot from his games. There's lots of terms and definitions to study. Well, it's medical terminology. He's well organized and posts what you need to learn in e-res.

Okay he was well orainzed and his games every week are helpful but their is 2 exams and 1 final which is no joke you have to study cuz it's all chapters!!!!! Study is a must .....

Attend every class! Study, Study, Study! 100+ new terms each week and Quiz each week. Do the the flash cards! 2 big exams and 1 GIANT final exam are 70% of your grade. Must study a lot! All classes are done on power point. Must show up for every class for quiz points.

This was no Terminology class like I HAVE TAKEN before. He was teaching an Anatomy class. Not real helpful for my field. Hung up on his own terms, his definitions and his career. My Physiology & Anatomy class was easier. Had to learn over 150 definition each week(his own). Final was 12 pages long. TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!!! DON'T TAKE UNLESS ONLY CLASS!

Great teacher. Always organized and ready to teach. For the amount of terms you have to memorize each week, he makes it pretty easy. He gives a review right before each quiz (you have one every class). This was the most helpful. He also posts everything on e-res so if you miss you aren't behind.

He's a great medical terminology teacher. Besides its not like he has any competition. Anyway, he tells you EXACTLY what to study for, and if you do, you're gold. He's engaging and makes things interesting.

This teacher is great! He tells you up front what to study and how to do it - if you follow it, you cannot fail.The games we played were a bit cheesy BUT extremely helpful for quizzes and tests. The only thing is the final was cumulative and way too much to remember.HIGHLY recommended - you will definitely have fun memorizing a bazillion terms! :o)

So I have dealt with a lot of teachers and I am pretty picky when it comes to who I would and wouldn't take again. I have to say this teacher was awesome. His class is very organized and he is always prepared. He posts all his powerpoints on E-Res. No projects/papers! :) You know what expect from day one, no suprises. Very accomidating.

Like most of you, this class is a requirement and it's hard. Best advice, write down all ? & answers given during his games like jeopardy. He seems to use the same terms on quizzes & exams. It was a great studying tool for the final.

This "professor" is terrible. He is an optomologist and so he in turn makes everything veired towards that. He actually was giving missinformation for people who are/will work in a hospital setting. I have worked in an emergency room for 12 years and found that he didn't know what he was talking about when it came to anything outside an office.

I found his teaching method very helpful. A very interactive class. There is a lot of vocab to learn, so be prepared to study everyday and attend each class! He reviews before each test which is very helpful and he posts the class notes on eRes. He seemed more than willing to help students succeed.

Great professor who adapts to the needs of the class. Offers review sessions for class before tests and is readily available to help students. This is an interesting Biology class and worth taking, he grades on a curve and offers extra credit.

Doesn't help you understand the labs.Once he watch me complete a lab, he knew I was doing it incorrectly, he never helped, just made mention at our next class meeting that I was doing it wrong. Labs are unclear and confusing.
