Professor Brantley is a kind human being. His style of teaching didn't make sense to me ( the way he explained things and worked through problems) but the book is very clear and helped me a lot. He can be quite strict in class if there's too much talking. But he is overall very reasonable. He was out having surgeries so I'm sure that took a toll.

Rick sometimes moves a bit fast but he explains the material well and loves to answer questions. If you show up to every class and take notes the class is an easy pass. There is homework from the textbook all the time but he never collects it.

great teacher, very fair on grading and answers all and any questions you have in class. we use the textbook everyday along with homework assignments daily. if you do the homework you will be ok for the test

By far the best math professor I have had in my entire life, this guy is awesome. He goes over the material very slowly and he makes sure that everyone understand what he's doing before he moves on. he will answer any question, and he is very patient. I recommend him to everybody who wants to learn math.

Mr. Brantley is a wonderful teacher. The pace of this class could be overwhelming. If you aren't a good test taker & don't like showing work, don't take this class. If you're willing to do your homework every night & ask questions, Mr. Brantley will answer questions about the material he's covering in class.

I really loved this class! Professor brantley actually wants you to learn and he will answer any questions. He is such a nice person and a great teacher! I loved group quizzes! Just pay attention and you'll pass this class. The only thing is he takes a long time to grade tests, but other than that everyone should take him!! Best professor ever!

This guy was freaking awesome! So much energy and he is real with the people in his class. Please pay attention to what he is saying! He did a great job at explaining things and re-explaining for those that didn't understand the first time.

Very nice guy and loves teaching, but moves quickly and does not always allow enought time for you to take all your notes. Loves to throw curve balls in on the quizes and tests so watch out. I struggled to get a B, never hated math till now.

My favorite professor thus far. Has rhymes and phrases for almost every complicated situation. Takes time to explain difficult problems in other ways. I hate math, but he made this class entertaining and fun. Gives partial credit for having the right idea but the wrong answer on tests. If you do homework, you'll ace the tests.

he was hard in the sense of..you must show all work nothing is multiple choice, your basically need to be a good test taker caus its lik 80% of your grade and i am not a good test taker, no notes, old fashioned no caluculator, doesnt really accept hw so no points there..unless u just "get" math you wont pass. honestly.

I had Brantley for my math b6b (calc 2) course this last spring. Brantley is overall a good guy. He tends to stumble over himself and loses his train of thought but eventually catches his own mistakes. Compared to other calc 2 professors he's good. Takes forever and a day to grade assignments though.

Professor Brantley is awesome! Super helpful, funny, and just great at teaching. He makes sure everything is crystal clear for the students. Put no stock in the previous comment that states that he talks fast and erases the board fast... totally inaccurate. If there is ever a point where you're confused, just ask him for clarification!

Love Professor Brantley! I hate math and was so worried about this class but he is extremely helpful and allows extra credits assignments in case you got a bad quiz score. He moves through some sections quickly but has no problem giving you extra help. Your final also replaces your worst exam score but only if it helps your grade. AWESOME TEACHER!
