Comment:

This man is the cockiest person you will ever meet. He won't admit when he is wrong, yet he is wrong 99% of the time. He possess no knowledge in the subject and I am deeply sadden that I actually paid money to take a class taught by him. He also must have some problem, he can't stop saying "in fact" I even counted he averages 2 in facts per minute.

Good guy but terribly boring. Take another teacher. An older man who is retiring and talks about the old days. Southern accent and basic boring lectures that do not go with test questions. Sets up easy class but my grade was a lot lower because tests are often and full of random irrelevant questions.

Extremely lazy. Takes forever to grade everything, like months. I think he spends most of him time talking about cheeseburgers and diet soda, guy literally is a walking heart attack. I think hes a 12 year old boy in a 70 year olds body. All good tho, boobies.

Professor McMurrian is an okay dude. Attendance is mandatory. Tests are straight from the book. He makes you do a few easy presentations which can help your grade. He's pretty funny i guess. Overall, a pretty straight forward class but pretty boring. Not an easy A because there are 6 exams and they are designed for you to get a few wrong

Class incredibly boring, his wonderful career in sales at IBM that provides the basis for all his stories doesn't help. His tests are all essay, which means you are at his mercy if he doesn't like you or like an answer you give. Don't try to clarify or ask for points back afterward. He is the most stubborn man and absolutely will not give in. AVOID

He's a very sweet man. He seems tough, but he is very lenient if you are persistant. He offers helpful study guides for the exams. One downside is he can be forgetful, but an e-mail reminder fixes all with him.

This guy is the worst teacher I have ever had in my entire life. He has no idea what he is doing and makes an easy class seem like its impossible. He doesnt stay true to his word on curving exams, giving bonus points or giving you help when needed. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. you will regret it I promise.

Comment:

McMurrian is a southern IBM retiree, accent and stories and all. He does change the syllabus, he forgets what he says and even repeated the same lectures. Try and do well with StratSim and he will love you. Make sure to sign in on the attendance sheets. The only good thing about this class is he let us out early to work on group projects.

probably the easiest class that i didnt ace. youll probably think its easy but it doesnt matter. he forgets everything he says, you cant hold him to his word at all (i.e. says he'll curve an exam and then won't). the laziest teacher i ever met. never responds to emails and definitely should retire. decent guy though, he wants you to THINK he cares

Unfortunately, this was the worst class I have taken at UT. He would change the syllabus, forget that he made the changes, and then expect students to follow the original syllabus. BORING and LOVES TO TALK ABOUT NOTHING. However, I do feel that he was a nice preson, but simply a horrible teacher. Time to retire if he doen't care about teaching.

He is one of the truest professors at this school. He is funny, easy going, and has A LOT of real life experience. He also really cares about students. His class will teach you so much stuff that is useful in real life situations.

I found this class to be extremely easy. Dr. McMurrian provided study guides for all exams, he provided easy bonus points, and extremely easy in-class assignments. I don't understand how students can complain about an easy class with a pretty laidback professor. I, also, found him to be funny at times with his cheesy jokes.

I guess I had to take the class to believe it. I just finished MKT 607 with him. Unfortunately I am enrolled in MKT 614 with him next semester. But honestly, he is the most ego headed professor I have ever had at UT. He doesn't care about the students. We had two grades which composed our final grade for the class. He cancelled the second class.

He has an ego the size of Trump, but his class was very interesting with lotssof good info. Loves the sound of his won vouce - "Excuse me, I have the floor here "..sheesh... But I think he's warm and does try to help. His tests are the same every semester and are not very comprehensive.. but overall a good learning experience and that's what counts
