Roberta is an absolute mess. I was very interested in learning more about the french culture and language. However, in her class i have learned nothing but how NOT to dress. Along with a horrid wardrobe, Roberta grades unfairly and is a totally biased teacher. She is rude and treats her students with no respect. Horrible professional behavior.

She is just not good. She knows a lot about the french atlantic, but it was probably her theme for her thesis years ago. She is terrible on feedback as indicated by almost every other student. obviously she does not have her act together seeing as how she was demoted from the head of the dept. the atlantic should never be french!!

terrible class and professor. NEVER hands back work. if your opinion is different than hers it's wrong. never lectures. she wants you to TRY to read 17th century french but then expects you to know everything. sucks that this class is required for the major. BON COURAGE!

I had her for French Composition. Yes, she shows up late for class a lot, but usually by less than 5 min. And we got our papers handed back to us a week after we turned them in, with good comments and fair grades. Very nice person & a good professor. Actually teaches and speaks almost completely in French. This class helped my writing a lot.

This is hard to say because Roberta is very nice, but she is an incompetent professor. The shortest assignments took two months to grade. Although commentary was helpful, there was no excuse for the extreme delay. Grades were completely arbitrary, I got 19/25 on the only two things she ever handed back but got an A. Only "1" I have ever given.

Okay, she IS bad at handing back assignments, but she's a great professor. I learned a lot from her class and her instruction has helped me quite a bit. If you're willing to be patient, you will get your assignments back. Personally, I'd prefer a professor, like her, who takes the time to write helpful comments over one who writes trash quickly. :)

I'VE HAD ROBERTA 3 TIMES FOR FRENCH CLASSES. SHE IS A VERY DISORGANIZED PERSON, SO SHE ENDS UP GRADING EASILY. HOWEVER, IT IS STILL A LOT OF WORK BEING GIVEN TO DO FROM SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT RESPECT HER STUDENTS ENOUGH TO COME TO CLASS ON TIME OR CHECK WORK TO GIVE BACK--EVER. VERY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE.

Dude, we're a few weeks from the end of the semester and we've gotten NOTHING back from her. We're expected to have work in on time yet we have no idea how we're doing in the class. This is the worst class I've ever had, and she doesn't even have a good accent. Crummiest teacher ever, seriously. Easy, but crummy.

Roberta is a wonderful teacher. Her enthusiasm and helpfulness make her classes so fun to attend. She is really committed to promoting thinking in her class. She knows how to both help and challenge her students.
