Teaching is a skill. This professor poses that skill. I admire him so much for that! I took it as a general class. This class is fully visual and kinesthetic. He is helpful and makes you be curious.

Kubesh is an awesome professor. I had taken the 260 class which was fun. Attendance is a must to recieve all information. When predicting the forecast assignment start right away as it's difficult to predict the weather. I think you will enjoy this class if you love the Weather.

Classes are mainly lectures and working through problems from the book. He is very friendly and will answer any question and help you until you understand. The labs once a week are fun and he doesnt expect too much work from them. The tests are hard, the average was about 50% for every test.

Rodney was a great professor. He is very, very knowledgeable on his class topic. Lectures are very good, sometimes boring but if you pay attention the class flies by. Go to class as he has either a short group quiz or individual quiz every class (they're easy). Don't need to buy the book. I didn't open it once and passed, plus it cost me $150.

One of the best professor, I have taken in SCSU. Rodney is really caring. He knows his stuff. His class are really fun. If you really know your stuff you dont even have to go to lab, just finish at home and turn it in within a week. Few online quizzzes, fairly easy and has 2 attempts. Pop quizes (individual and group) in almost every class.

Would take it again. He is very clear about his lectures and slides. There are less than '5' D2L homework under the quizzes (you have 2 attempts)! He really cares for the student. Is a completely ANTI-STRESS class, ad the best part is, you really learn! :)

Rodney is super nice and he will work with students to get the best grade. Lectures were interesting, he posts the slides on d2l, does d2l quizzes, and does this thing called forecast game. That counts a lot for your grade so don't slack on it. Need 85% to get an A. Very responsive with emails. Labs were interesting, some were hard but not terrible

pros - he makes jokes so casually that you'd miss a few of the pure gold ones. content is very easy and presented clearly. great for visual learners, lots of images and videos. Trekkie. i liked the objectiveness with which he talked of climate change; all facts. cons - lab instructions were sometimes not very clear. voice gets too low sometimes.

Great guy. Highly recommend his class. Funny to watch but definitely knows his stuff and how to teach. labs are a bit confusing but even if you BS them you ought to be fine. Tests are fairly easy. don't buy the book though and if you do, any edition works. Fun class though, even for someone in a business major

Atmospheric science was an excellent class, everything on the test was basically in the notes. If you studied, you probably got an A or B. Plus, on his quizzes, if you mess up the first time, you're given a second shot. Also, PREDICT THE WEATHER, it's crucial for your grade to be high; he doesn't expect you to be a meteorologist, so try!

Rodney is a great professor! His lectures in this class were clear and interesting. This class should be an easy A for anyone who takes it. All that's basically done is learning about what you want to do with your Meteorology major. Lots of guest speakers. Easy class, great professor!

Rod is the BEST teacher ever. This class was both fun and educational. The only reason attendance is mandatory is because you have a mini quiz every day, but they're super easy. Just make sure to take the forecasting game a little more seriously and you're golden! Tests are totally fair too! :)

Took this class online, it was a very tough subject for me, but that has nothing to do with how awesome this professor and the other one is. Very understanding that things happen and just let you email things you may have missed once or twice!

I took this class online. It was a great class but overall it was very tough. The reason for this is because ya have to teach yourself everything! The professor doesnt get back to ya right away, takes a few days. The class average for the first 2 exams was 61%. There are many labs the first half of the semester and many quizzes. Overall good class.
