The video project was the dumbest thing ever. He spends too much time discussing current news and he doesn't teach us how to do our homework. As the semester progressed, he taught less and the material got more challenging. You will definitely need to find a tutor or pay for online help to survive. Save yourself and DO NOT take this course!

Comment:

Hands down the worst professor ever. He doesn't understand how to engage nor teach a class. The course was easy, however, he fails to understand the whole concept of teaching. He wants an insane amount of participation. The first 45 min are spent discussing articles, while math problems are left for students to try to figure on their own. -10/10

Comment:

This online class was pretty simple. You had like 2 chapters to do a week which involved the HW, a quiz, and a forum response each. Information was really boring most of the time and the equations could be difficult. Tests are timed and can sometimes be tricky. Allows for multiple attempts on test and quizzes though. Video project is kinda dumb.

No textbook! Problems on the exam are exactly like the homework. You get an index card for every exam - put equations, example problems, other key notes you might forget. Multiple choice problems on the exam can be tricky if you don't study. He's very interested in the subject which helps make it more interesting for the students. Take him!

Good professor. Lectures are extremely boring and tedious but necessary to understanding how to do homework problems. Three tests, you can use a cheat sheet for all three. The problems on the test are exactly like the homework problems. Online notes to help you if you missed a class or if you want to review material. Nice guy, just really boring.

nice guy- jolly i'd say. class is pretty easy, just keep up with the readings that he posts and do your homework. you get a notecard for equations for the test. study and you'll do fine. i'd recommend him!

He's very repetitive, but if you take notes & do the homework (only like 1 problem a week) you'll get an A. He lets you bring in a note card for the test with whatever you want on it. It's a really easy class & he's a good guy...I'd recommend him.
