Comment:

There's 1 presentation, 4 HW's, 6 class exercises where you needed to show up to class to earn credit, and 1 ethics case, which were all super easy to obtain an A in, and 3 exams. However, the exams were difficult to obtain a high grade in because there's some tricky T/F questions and MC. I felt like the exams were easy, but I got a lower grade.

Comment:

Dr. Ardalan's 425 class gets hard with the tests. The weekly papers (18 of them) are easy enough to write but remembering the material from 5 or 6 of the long articles for tests is just absurd. Sadly it's a required class for IT majors. Be prepared to get shafted on exams if reading is your weak spot like it is mine.

summer online class. 3 tests through proctorU (i studied for one and barely studied for the other 2). easy weekly HW. Straightforward class. Give yourself enough time to go through modules and take notes so you can do good on tests.

I agree with person below me that this class is useless but easy. The tests can be a bit tricky sometimes but overall, it's easy material to grasp/remember. I took it online. Tests are proctored. She's one of very few teachers at this school who actually responds to emails in a timely manner.

This course is the most useless course in the entire Strome College and I truly feel it's just a way to take your money. Dr. Ardalan is nice, but the course is completely self taught. The only reason to go to class is because it is required. I do not agree with her teaching method, and I feel it is unfair to students. The course is easy luckily.

So many papers. Prepare to write one short paper, 1-3 pages per week -- sometimes more. Tests are difficult and ask specifics that you wouldn't expect to be asked about. Tests are also conducted through proctorU, buyer beware. Lenient on grading, any questions or issues can be directed to the prof by email and you can expect to get a response.

A A/B was obtainable. She is very clear about the grading criteria. Course consists of 3 tests and 16 HW assignments which do more than boost your grade. DO THE HOMEWORK.

This class should be an easy A. It consisted of 3 exams and short weekly papers, however, the questions on the exams are extremely too specific for the amount of material they cover. I'll never take her for another class, especially not online.

360 is hands down one of the most boring waste of money classes req by Strome College. Best way to do well on exams (40-50 Q's T/F & MC) know deeper than simply definitions. Read textbook & take extra notes on her provided ppts can get you an A. There's 5 HW assignments (book case study Q's), 1 presentation (easy), 1 paper (easy). Tends to ramble.

This is one of those classes that you think would be and easy A. I took another IT class very similar to this and received an A and went into this one thinking it would be a piece of cake. It was no piece of cake. The tests are very difficult and ask very specific questions. Ridiculously hard for a common sense IT class.

Do NOT take this professor if you're a good student who learns from going to class. Her lectures are useless because her test questions just come from the book. Lots of reading. She doesn't take attendance. Her tests are hard!

So doesn't matter who is teaching it really because the problem is the material that is full of old concepts (that you've probably learned in other classes at this point) and, again, useless. So the professor, is a minor detail of this stupid class that is only exists to take your $

Easy A. She can ramble during lecture but materials is straight forward from slides and book. Gives study guide for every exam that tell you what to study on there. HWs were easy just read and answer questions. 1 easy article presentation. Show up for class when she send out email there will be class discussion. Final is not cumulative!

Pretty easy overall. Does give 5 in class assignments during the semester that you have to be present to get credit for but tells you ahead when they will be. Subject is boring and she does have a bit of an accent but I found her easy enough to understand. Nice lady

Dr. Ardalan is an excellent teacher who cares for her students and wants us to learn. Those of us who were serious about learning participated in class exercises and paid attention to the video clips she showed us in class. Overall it was a very good class.

Comment:

You can sum up the entire course and textbook with: 'use IT for everything in business, because it's really good.' Unfortunately, the tests were purposely worded poorly to add the perception of difficulty to otherwise simple material--which makes for the worst kind of experience. I didn't find her very helpful, either. Wouldn't recommend.

One of the worst professors. The material isn't hard, but she also isn't very clear. I read some reviews about her accent, but that's not why she's unclear. I just don't think she's able to articulate the thoughts in a clear manner.

Three years later, I agree with all comments from previous rater regarding this instructor. Took this class during summer and all students had to teach themselves the course material. No lectures, class was taught like a web-based class except for classroom attendance for exams and one presentation. Three days after final, I don't have my grade!

There is no extra credit. This class was stupidly hard. Even with reading the text book, attending class, and taking notes the tests are hard. Her questions are so detailed for word for word what the textbook said... I have heard other professors are much easier for this course. Not very happy about this course.
