The amount of information you are expected to know is absolutely ridiculous. Her lectures are over an hour but take you longer if you want to write down everything. Her quizzes were okay, sometimes not even relevant to the chapter. And her midterm and final were so hard and specific and based of the least important information. I do not recommend.

Waaaay too heavy for a first year course. The amount of expected reading was ridiculous considering most of us have 4 other courses going on, and the test questions were so specific to the point of digging through 600 pages just to find one small line that is the answer to one question. I was very disappointed with this class.

She is not the nicest, she can be hard to communicate with and she tends to not respect you. The test are extremely hard especially taken online. There is not enough time to write the exams. The midterm focuses on the first 10 chapter and the final is cumulative 25ch total. I really think she needs to rethink her lecture and course outline.

Crazy amount of work for a 100 level class. I'm not in my first year, but this was heavier in content than all my other higher level courses combined. I did it online, and we had to watch lectures, answer questions in lecture, post on discussions three times a week, read giant textbook chapters and do quizzes weekly, and do her required readings.

I loved this class because the material was straightforward, and nutrition is something I've always loved. The class average was around 65% which I found strange, cuz it was an easy class. Her lectures are at 8 am, which can be tiresome, however, Sabina was my fav prof as she is very informative, sweet and entertaining. Take this if you love bio!

Ridiculous work load for a 100 level course. Exams are open book but you need to be able to answer nit picky vague questions exactly to whats in her lecture or you wont get marks in the written questions. You are responsible for 1500 pages of material and the online lectures are so poorly done, audio is bad on most of them. Don't take this class.

Sabina expects you to know an ABSURD amount of details and does not give you any practice midterms or finals before the tests. sHE Does not understand that students have other classes: Final was cumulative and she didn't even told us what to focus on cause "this is not high-school" So overwhelming and stressful !! Do not take it

She's a decent professor, only problem is that she expects you to know a very large amount of information and detail for a 100 level class. Her exams are okay, short answer are typically more general questions whereas her multiple choice go into detail. She expects you to know all info from her lectures, textbook, and additional readings for exam!

Sabina was very good at explaining new content but the lecture was crazy hard. midterm worth 30%!!. she talks really fast to finish one chapter in each class which is hard to follow up with notes. attendance is mandatory though she'll tell you that it's not in the first lecture than she'll say that it's worth 10% of your final grade. don't take it

I wish I had listened to other people who had written before me. Sabina is a very nice lady, however the best lectures I went to in this class were when she had a guest speaker come in. she speaks too quickly to write down notes, her lectures are not very interesting in the way she speaks to us, and this is a very content heavy course not an easy A

This was such a heavy load for a 100 level class, Sabina was very knowledgable of this field, but she mainly would read off her 50+ slides, and would talk so fast that you could not take down proper notes. Tests are unfair because there is so much you need to know. Don't take this class if you are looking for a GPA booster

Pretty content heavy for a first year course, if looking to take as a GPA boost I do not recommend. The lectures are pretty much how you would expect a content heavy course to go, however I will say that Sabina is not very good at answering questions students have in class. Often the responses were vague or confused me more.

Sabina is a very nice lady and very knowledgeable about her field. However as a prof, she is an absolute scatterbrain. Every rubric she handed back had mistakes, names were always misspelt and there were always multiple corrections that had to be made (which is scary considering she is responsible for your grade). Very, very tough grader as well...

Way too heavy for a 100 level course. Sabina reads directly off the slides which are 50+ per class. Expected to know ALL additional readings, entire textbook and all slides. Doesn't give clear guidelines for what is tested and was rude when asked. Since she doesnt say what she wont test, you're left stressed and overwhelmed. AVOID unless you need.

The worst and most boing class you will ever take. Most uninteresting and unintelligent prof I have ever had. Reads all lectures directly from slides. Avoid her and this class at all costs. Self-harm is a serious thought when taking this class. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS/

Her online lectures are very boring. They are unedited which makes it very tough to focus. The course content is interesting but I would suggest taking it in class and not with Sabina.

I wouldn't say she is a bad prof, just super boring for an 8 am, hour and a half class. She seems genuinely interested and knowledgable in nutrition and the epoll questions, as well as the quizzes, are easy marks. The class is fine though, especially if you already know a bit about nutrition. Plus you don't need to go to class, just read the slides
