I took this class online and was able to hold onto a high B until the last two papers. she grades tough and is not always clear on what she expects from the assignment. Lots of writing papers and citations.

She is a really good online instructor. She has high expectations which in turn challenges you to learn and do what is needed. I learned a lot and think she is one of the best online instructors I have had. I plan to take more courses with her.

DO NOT take any of her classes!! She doesn't help her students at all. She didn't even provide materials for her class. She is RUDE and FAKE! STAY AWAY take Psychology classes anywhere else. She is so unorganized and doesn't care about school. Her test don't cover the same material that is covered in the book. Worst teacher EVER!

I took this class online and thought it was extremely time consuming and difficult. The whole group thing stinks since groups members don't like to contribute enough & my grade had to suffer because of it. Make sure to read the chapters since the tests are timed & the questions are worded funny & are tough! Good Luck.

She's pretty prompt at replying to emails. She grades fairly...but don't expect any cushion in your grade. She knows what she wants and isn't always give the clearest directions. I took the class online and it was easy, i just didn't like the group work.

I would have to say i enjoy Mrs. Oates, her class is not hard at all.I perosnally think she gives enough time for you to read two chapters and a Quiz and the forums also. If you read the book, study & do online activites then you would have no problem. From a learning student Destiny H. Lol

The class was a lot harder than I thought. i took it for the summer session and thought it would be a breeze, but I was fooled! There is 1 test and 1 DB a week. Her tests are very hard and the questions are tricky. No extra credit either. Be prepared to work!

I took this class online. There is alot of work in this class if you take it online with oates. her notes and study guides do not help at all for tests. DB are fairly easy, make sure you have a good working group. She does give some extra credit and she also drops lowest test grade and DB grade. If you sign up for this class be prepared to work.

Comment:

Mrs.Oates is nice and really likes it when you talk to her. I took her online this summer and got an A, but it is alot of work. You will take at least two test a week. She does give extra credit, but youv'e got to work for it. Psychology is not easy, however Mrs. Oates is one of the best teachers. I would recommend her over Marsh, and Kuhn.
