If you want to know anything about Spain, you must take Prof.García. Besides being an awesome, hilarious person, he knows everything you could possibly want to know about Spanish history, literature, and culture, not to mention other fields.García is very important, very published, is a walking encyclopedia on Spain, and is just a very cool guy.

I really liked this class. He does have an accent but it's nt difficult to understand, andhe really loves what he's teaching. He knew so much about the topic that I fell in love with it too.

this guy is hilarious, although lectures are boring at times. you little room to mess up on the exam cuz every wrong answer lowers your grade by half a letter. he wasnt very helpful when it came to the paper. i got an A in class, but I studied hard.

He is a brilliant and well-published man. In class he is entertaining, laid-back, easy to understand and a super nice guy. However, be careful about asking him to be on your graduate examination committee!!! He can be very difficult and often adds many things to your reading list.

Difficult class, but that's to be expected from an honors class. Garcia is an amazing professor. He really cares about the students, is very understanding, and does everything possible so that you can succeed. He even gave me his home phone number so I could call him to dicuss the final paper. Incredibly smart and hillarious. If you can, take him.

although i dropped this class, it was not because of the teacher. Dr. Garcia was old, but absolutely fantastic. I'd been warned that he was comparatively easy to other teachers, but he's a great guy and he really cares about his students' well-being.
