Comment:

If you're looking for an easy but enjoyable critical thinking course that takes minimal effort this is the one. Professor Young is funny and kind of all over the place, but she is a great lady nonetheless. Assignments are pretty easy and she is a very fair grader. Easy A in my opinion, and you still learn something!

Comment:

Had this professor last semester. She is witty & hilarious. However, we got minimal grades back & she did not put any grades up even when the semester was over. Seems like if she doesn't like you, she'll give you a poor grade. She'll pick on you, so if you take anything to heart, I don't recommend!Great person, but do not prefer her as a professor.

Professor Young is the best! She gives a decent amount of homework but it is not hard and it's easy. She is so funny and always had the class laughing. She is caring and understanding. She grades homework quickly however she does not post grades but do not worry as long as you do all the work you will pass. Her class was so much fun I never missed.

She is a great teacher, but has a weird grading scale. I handed everything in during the semester and received a B. Like what???? BUT She is very nice and cares about her students. I will miss her personality next year I wish her the best!

SHE IS AN AMAZING PROFESSOR. Take her for sure. She has really helped me with my writing skills but also has those moments where we will work in the class and then have a discussion about life. She really cares for her students and makes class fun!! She is such a funny person.

She's HILARIOUS and very understanding. There are no Final Exams or Midterms in this class but EXPECT to write a lot of essays. She makes the class interesting. Attendance is mandatory.

I took her Playwriting class and absolutely loved it. Prof. Young is such a cool person, and makes her classes fun. I actually looked forward to the 2 hour block each week. I learned a lot about writing and she even helped me with figuring out what other classes to take (she is an English advisor too). I wish I could take her class again.

My favorite professor at Sacred Heart. Had her freshman year and she was my academic adviser and helped me through everything! Absolutely fantastic teacher, wants her students to do well. I transferred after my first year and Dr. Young was there for me every step of the way. My favorite person at this school by far, she is such a genuine person!

Awesome teacher. She's genuine, funny, and cares about her students. In a school where teachers will not answer honestly, spend time with a failing student, or inject personality into lecture to make it fun: she is a godsend. She doesn't care for "books." She cares that you understand the lesson and got what the material teaches.

I really like Prof. Young. Sometimes she comes on strong and that can put people off, but if you take the time to get to know her, she is very nice and super helpful. The work is not hard, but you need to follow her corrections in order to do well. She is opinionated, but she welcomes other peoples views too. Take her! :)
