Comment:

Dr. C is such a good guy and is very knowledgable about business and economics. two exams (a 20 page midterm paper that's very doable, and creating short essays on your classmates debate presentation), a debate (very doable on a topic you choose), and participation (weekly DB posts). He is a fair grader and would recommend him as a prof to others!

Dr. Christiansen is a really solid professor. He's thoughtful and accessible, and he cares about student learning. He really knows his stuff, and I'd definitely take him again.

William is a good professor. He really does care that the students keep up with the news & what's going on in the world today. There's only 2 take-home essay exams, 1 paper, and some weekly readings. Attendance is key to get the participation part of the grade. The TA sucks. She never responded to my emails ever. Besides that, I liked the class.

Great professor, encourages critical thinking, assignments (while some may be lengthy) are graded rather easily and based on your thought processes. 100% would recommend - and have recommended this class to my friends. Take it if you can get in!

Great class to take as a finance elective, only two take-home exams, one term paper, and few discussion boards. Dr. Christiansen wants to teach his students about the real world, and he does a good job of that in this class. Would recommend

Comment:

One of the few classes that never really felt like a class. Was nice learning about the business world in a way that did not follow a set script. Go to class, participate in lectures, and enjoy. 2 essay exams &1 paper, all take home. One tip, unless he gives you a word or page limit, write up to or near the almost always max to ensure a good grade.

Comment:

Tough professor, but one of the best in the MBA program. Goes a little overboard with writing assignments though. Twenty page paper for midterm, endless discussion boards, and another 5,000+ writing assignment final plus a 2-on-2 hour long debate. Intense class, learned a lot, but glad to be done.
