Professor Nunes is amazing and my favorite professor. I had a really hard time adjusting to nursing, and he was always super caring. If you're having problems don't hesitate to reach out to him. His lectures are hilarious and he'll give out candy to people who participate. His study guides are excellent, and he's a fair grader. Definitely take him.

I love him! Absolutely recommend. Such a sweet person. A little bit shy hahah but its really sweet at the same time. Very helpful and positive. The best anatomy teacher in the world!

I LOVE Dr. Nunes. He is the sweetest man I have ever met, he is not intimidating at all and is so straight forward about what he expects from students. Anatomy was no walk in the park but he makes it very clear. He gives LOTS of chances to get some extra points in with in class activities as well!

He's very monotone in the beginning, but gets better as the sem goes by. Lectures are boring and you don't need to show up to get an A. Study the worksheets and study guides he puts up on Canvas. He is also extremely accessible by email and is a very nice dude!

take this professor!!! he makes his exams really straightforward and easy, theyre mostly on the worksheets he gives out. he also posts review questions and practice quizzes online and as long as you study you will do fine. dont buy the book

Professor Nunes is amazing. He is very smart and knows biology well. His lectures are detailed but not overwhelming. His exams are to the point and he gives you plenty of review material. He really cares that you understand the material and even post lectures and practice quizzes. Studying for his tests are not too bad just make sure you do study.

Professor Nunes is an amazing and helpful professor who has taught me a lot this semester. He gives out optional worksheets to help you follow along with his lecture so you don't zone out. His lectures are easy to follow and he explains everything so you can understand the material better and he give you a lot of resources to study for the exam.

I would recommend downloading his powerpoints before lecture and take notes directly on them as he speaks. Then, when I would get back to my dorm I would copy what I had typed on the slides and would then write them down on my notebook. Before tests I would also copy down his practice quizzes, then go through all of my notes with highlighters.

Comment:

At the beginning of the year Nunes is super quiet but his volume gets better as the year progresses his volume gets better. No final just 4 exams and he specifies what is on the test. He doesn't take attendance but sometimes there are class activities that you turn in at the end of class. The tests are mainly what is on the practice quizzes.

Quirky. At the beginning, try sitting in the front so you can hear the lecture. He tells the class what to expect on the test, so you know what you need to do. Powerpoints are online and you just need to study those. Try to go to class because there are graded activities, but they're just a small part of your grade. Study and you'll be fine.

Super clear on what he wants you to know. He's also very helpful when you go to ask him questions. He gives lots of good study material such as practice quizzes, exercises, and sometimes actual questions on the test. Take his class! Best bio professor I've ever had

Nunes really cares about his students and will do anything he can to help you. Lectures are amazing with great slides. He really knows what he is talking about. Tests are hard but he literally tells you everything to expect. I would take a class by him again in a heart beat. Does his best to keep his lectures interactive.

Comment:

Nunes was a great professor! Some exam questions on the more recent tests were trickier and harder than the first two tests. He gives an outline of what the test will consist of (# of Multiple Choice/True of False/Matching questions). Really study through the slides, handouts and practice quizzes and you should do just fine No textbook use at all

The grade I got in the class was my own fault. If you put in some time to study the material, you'll have an easy time passing the class. People think he's an awkward guy, and yes he's quiet, but I recommend sitting towards the front. He'll acknowledge you more and you'll be able to hear him better (including the funny stuff he occasionally says)

I had Professor Nunes for Anatomy this semester and his class was very straightforward. If you study his power points, you're for sure going to get an A on the exams. He doesn't do attendance but he does have exercises every class that are due at the end.

Dr. Nunes is the BEST teacher ever! His tests are straight-forward and his exercises and practice tests are so helpful. He is the kindest man iv'e ever met and you can tell he really cares about his students.

Professor Nunes's class was overall a good experience. His worksheets and lectures were very clear and helpful. Study those well and you will do well in the class.
