Sean is AWESOME. Makes the class make sense, and you learn the material easily! LOVES assignments, but they really relate to exam material. Econometrics is hard, but he makes it manageable.

As with other courses I've taken from Sean, AREC 471 was fun and interesting. I also came out of the class feeling that it was worthwhile. The only thing that bugged me about Sean was that it took him ages to grade assignments!

Although he is a really good prof, I didn't find the class to be AMAZING like everyone else. I found the in-class notes to be rather useless and relied heavily on the textbook. The class is almost too easy, with him letting you practically bring in a book of cheat sheets for tests. Econ/policy is my major, but this class spoonfed the info too much!

Sean is such an awesome prof! He has a great teaching style and makes the material fun to learn. He is very helpful in and out of class. If you have a question he'll be sure to respond back quickly via e-mail. And, he does awesome experiments - you get chocolate - although he also takes your money. He is overall an amazing prof! Take his class!

Sean is an EXCELLENT teacher - organized, helpful, patient, knowledgeable and always cheerful. I feel like I've learned a great deal in AREC 365 without having to work too hard. I highly recommend AREC 365 to other Nu Fs students contemplating an elective. You won't be disappointed!!

Considering some of the bad profs I've had over the years, it is always a blessing to get profs like Sean! So helpful, so respectful, and very easy to understand. I really hope that he stays around for a long time, and that more profs like him will be hired on by the University of Alberta, PLEASE!!!!
