Professor White is extremely kind and courteous for all of her students. She really helps each student on a personal level to become better writers and how to get a good grade on your papers. She was very accessible outside of class and was really easy to talk to. Highly recommend!

super easy assignments , very easy class and shes very nice and helpful . gives good feedback on papers , if youre not interested in the environment the class can get boring bc thats what all the topics are about.

She is really nice. She gives great feedback on the papers. Get ready to buy novels. She assigned the The Great Extinction book and Colors of Nature both books are inexpensive. The last paper you are forced to write your own argument. I think she is great but her class can get really boring.

All the papers are on food. She helps us come up with the prompts to our papers. She is a sweet and helpful professor. Also an easy grader :). She is accessible after class. She is willing to give you more feedback than the required.

As a whole she is a good teacher, and wants to help students but she is not a good professor. Our personalities clashed and we did not get a long. She does not like student who "talk to much" and made a few rude comments to me even though i was on topic and not having side conversations and on being an athlete. Not a difficult class though

Professor White is so nice, but her class is boring. I took Creative Acts and it was pretty easy but she doesn't really help improve your writing skills. She also doesn't grade on how well your poems or short stories are - I don't know what she grades on. But she is very nice and will always help you.

I took her for Honors Creative Acts. She would assign things and never collect them, or collect things she never assigned. She talked about her writer friends and her own writing way too much. She does NOT help you improve your writing. Easy A, but if you love writing, this course will annoy the hell out of you.

She is a very nice person. Sometimes it seems like the paper topics are pulled out of nowhere and make no sense, however she is very lenient with how much you actually stick to the prompt as long as you tell here where your paper is going to go. Sharon is by far my favorite professor I've had. The class is fairly easy, but requires you to actually do the reading. Class goes by fairly fast, and its not her lecturing, its a class discussion. I would take one of Dr. Whites classes again in a heartbeat.

Sweetest lady ever! Really understanding and helpful. She still helps me out with my essays for other classes. As for homework, all you have to do is read an article and do a one page response to it, its just a completion grade. 4 papers due over the course of the semester, gives you a chance to edit them and resubmit them. Definitely take her!

I had Dr. White for Eng 40 and 50. I thought she was a very easy teacher. Many times I would go to her and she would write my thesis for me. Eng 50 was being boring. All we talked about was nature and it got old. But for the most part she is easy. I would recommend her

DO NOT take the class unless you are in love with nature. Every reading assignment and paper has to do with nature and this lady is a complete tree hugger. She is a very nice lady though. Take another english 50 class because her class gets very boring and her paper topics are all about nature.
