I've had the privilege to have Jenn for 4 courses during my undergrad, and I can confidently say she is one of the most influential professors I have had. She is a truly academic prof who pushes you to do your best, and she is always there to help (and do take advantage of this). Her passion for theatre and teaching is evident.

Drama minors, you will not see the hype about Jenn. She's your classic drama prof, which isn't a bad thing, however her lectures get insanely boring and unless you are 110% dedicated to the drama lifestyle, you'll find her grading to be a little difficult at times. Make sure your phone is 100% charged for her lectures!

JENN IS THE BEST! She not only cares about her students but shes genuinely interested in their lives. 110% Go to her office hours she is the best person to sit down with and chat about anything. Course is weighted fairly so you have room through out the year to do better.

Jenn is the most incredible professor you could ever hope to work with. She understands that you are not only a student, but a human being, and places a large emphasis on teaching life lessons outside of the classroom. If you ever get the chance, definitely attend her office hours; she is the most insightful person you could ever sit down with.

Incredibly helpful, more interested in taking things through then just giving a bad grade and moving on. Extremely understanding and fair.

Having a few classes with Jenn, she is so compassionate about learning and her classes demand you to really think about the subject rather then reiterate everything from lecture. An overall beautiful and intelligent person.

Very through! Very helpful! Really cares, she will meet you and give you extensions no matter what. The 3 hour lectures can get a little long. But she cares about you and very passionate which makes it worth it. Don't expected to learn about acting or directing, more about the theory of drama

Jenn is great. She DOES cover concepts quite extensively but she makes sure that you understand what you are learning. She provides you with a new knowledge about drama. It's no longer skits and monologues, but instead a craft and a theory. She is so willing to meet with you about ANYTHING; take advantage of this! Great start to my drama education.

Very nice woman, but her lectures are extremely repetitive. Expect to sit for 3 hours and talk about one simple idea that could have been easily understood in under ten minutes. The work load is worse than expected but definitely not too much to handle.

I disagree with most of the comments posted on this about Jenn. I do not think that she is a good prof, she uses the simpilist ideas and doesn't elaborate on them I feel as if I could be teaching the class! She teachers as if the whole class is just starting high school when we are all 2nd and 3rd year students. Never again will I take her classes!

having NEVER taken drama before this class was different. The amount of reading is insane, and overall she is a good lady. Very understanding, hard not to like. Her finals are kind of insane though, 20 essays( you need to make up) and picks 4 of them at random. Prepare for your marks to drop after the final...but yea, you learn alot from her.
