Comment:

Probably the worst professor I have ever had. She is lazy, rude, and rambles on about nothing useful or anything that pertains to the class subject. I had her for 2 classes and she does the same thing in both. Her assignments are the easiest and her not teaching anything makes them harder to do. Just save yourself, and don't take her.

This is an easy class to pass, I'm not sure what you're all complaining about. This is a women's studies class I'm not sure what some of you expected. She wants you to choose an interesting point from the reading and give 2-3 sentences on it so you can easily skim. Listen to what she says and the exams will be easy. She tells you what she wants.

Please just save yourself! She was a last resort for me and I honestly hated going to her class. Her Hw is long and pointless. She talks 1hr+ before we even watched the film. She really loves to waste time talking about nonsense and her opinion. Very rude to students at times and expects you to share her opinion.

She hates Trump. Every week she brings up Trump out of nowhere which is not even related to the class topics at all. if She talks about a topic, she explains it for about 2 hours straight to herself then goes way off the topic(of course she gotta talk about feminist stuff). Everyone in class will go to sleep. she doesnt breath when she talks.

I really needed a class that Sherry happened to be teaching, and saw these reviews and winced in pain. As the class ended I have to say she really isn't as bad as everyone here is saying. Yes she is tough, yes she is annoying, but impossible? No. If you reeally need the credit/class just do it. Maybe I had it easier because it's all production work

Not a very reliable professor. She was very inconsistent in terms of communicating with her students (often having to wait weeks to even hear from her). Her feedback was ok, but not specific enough. Personally I would recommend taking a different professor.

Her liberal rhetoric makes me want to walk out the class sometimes. BUT when it comes to film, she is very knowledgable. Assignments are pretty lengthy and ridiculous but luckily, there are only 5. Gives a midterm & final. The tests are honestly really easy. As long as you watch the films and take notes, you will do well.

She's horrible!!!!! Don't do it too yourself. I use too dread going to this class everyday. Worst teacher in my life. She doesn't know how to teach. You will watch a movie and she will discuss the movie for about 2 hours. and the homeworks are pointless and she never gives back anything on time. Trust me when I'm telling you DO NOT take this class

Worst media professor at CSI. Lazy as all hell, doesn't hand anything back, gives zero feedback, and assigns an absolutely absurd amount of work. Has very narrow outlook on papers and refuses to see any other way but hers. She rambles on all class and repeats herself in every way possible. A miserable blob of human life- avoid her at all costs.

God awful professor. A petition was started to remove her but apparently it didn't work. Avoid this professor if you can, very in comprehensive and doesn't show much initiative about her work at all. Hell, I got my grades today and she didn't post anything yet (Z grade at the moment).

Worst professor by far. The class was Non-fiction Film and TV, NOT DOCUMENTARY. She is a chronic procrastinator when it comes to grading, disorganized, and a rambler. She does not read papers and grades unfairly because she skims. If your opinion goes against hers, she argues that your opinions invalid. Final line: Don't do it to yourself.

This was the single worst professor I have ever had. The course I took was called Non-Fiction Film and Television, well she turned it into a documentary class. Every day of that class I would look at my syllabus to make sure I was in the right class. She scolded my class because we were not taking documentary class seriously.

I'm a pretty good student, and when I read the rest of these comments I just chalked it up to the students having poor judgement... well.. do yourself a favor and DO NOT take this woman! She is AWFUL!!! boringgg and stops the film to talk & talk circling the same sentence for about 30min at a time! I had to drop this class! Shes boringgg!!

WORST professor to ever walk face of earth! Starts class hour late, ends hour early. Provides absolutely NO useful knowledge. When trying to teach how to edit, couldn't turn computer on. Knows nothing about film, whatsoever. I have NOTHING good to say. Should be fired, but she's unfortunately tenured. Asinine.
