Spencer Martin's downbeat is never where it should be. Phil has actually just made me a better chamber(Conductor-less orchestra) player. He is very passive-aggressive and is intolerable when things don't go his way. CAUTION: It is impossible to reason with him. Good Luck

Brilliant musician and conductor. I learned so much from playing under Dr. Martin's direction. In my opinion he's one of the best conductors at Luther College.
