Manzi teaches her lectures without a powerpoint, which makes difficult for me to take notes. The lectures are engaging, but I never know what is important. The class is made up of 3 exams, 1 small paper, participation, and attendance. She provides a study guide but does not post her notes online. She offers a lot of extra credit opportunities.

Comment:

Probably the best teacher I've ever had. She's caring. Her class is lecture-based, but is not boring at all. She gives real life examples on everything she talks about & gives extra credit opportunities. She makes up a study guide for each test, which is so helpful to know exactly what to study. Take good notes & study for tests, you'll be fine.

Dr. Manzi is a great teacher, she really cares about all of her students and wants them to succeed. She only assigned 3 assignments and made the final optional. If you're looking for any class and she is an option, I would take her. She's also very knowledgeable.

Dean Manzi is an excellent professor - she comes to class prepared, and expects the dame of her students. She explains things in an understandable way, and engages the class during discussion. She also explains your grades, and what you could do to improve them.

Make sure you write a good paper. If she does not like it she will mail it to your house to re-write, sometimes right before the end of the semester. You will not leave class early, she will keep you till the end. Great teacher though, you will learn!

Dean Manzi is amazing. She is a great person and a wonderful teacher. If you pay attention in class and study for tests you will get an A. She really knows the material. Your CJ experience is not complete at RWU without a class with Manzi!

Shitty teaching style & Unfair tests....3/4 of class failed first test and she still claimed it was a fair test be 1 person got an A. Be prepared to take down the "unimportant stuff" because she will sneak it in on the test.
