Assignments are randomly given in bulk back to back without regard to other classes students may be taking. Opinionated in grading and does not have much passion.

Assignments are thrown at you back to back without warning. Professor is monotonous and boring.

Terrible. Always assigns a paper directly after presenting group projects with less than a week's notice on the due date. Pulls essay and presentation grades out of his rear end (equal quality work can sometimes receive 100% or 50% depending on his mood without grading notes).

Also took 43.393. Overall a great professor. Laid-back but still engaging. Classes are largely based on group discussions, which is really nice, much better than classes that are 100% lecture. A good amount of reading, but nothing unmanageable. Fair grader, writing requirements are not very demanding.

Great professor! Easy class. Was not too much work at all though. Grades fairly. Gives you ample time to pass in essays, even if it's late, he doesn't mark any pts off. It may seem like a lot of reading, but it only prepares you for in class discussions. TIP-Take notes of the discussion, they are what your essays are on! Open book final! Love him!

He is a great teacher! He is very engaging and encourages lots of class participation. There is quite a bit of reading each class but he is a very fair grader. He is approachable and this is the first class that I felt comfortable giving presentations. I wish he taught more classes because I would definitely take them, I highly recommend him!!

He's a good guy and make things interesting. The class was a lot of work ... lots of reading & lots of papers to write & an in class presentation to give. But, he made the class interesting and he grades fairly. You do a lot of work - but you also learn a lot.

He is a nice guy, but he gives so much reading. He has you do an presentation, which is so easy. He will have a question on the final which will ask 3 things that surprised you about the presentations, using 3 different people's presentations. Grading is 20% participation and that is just showing up

A fair amount of reading, but not too much. It was a summer class, so it required reading maybe 50 to 100 pages per class. Very insightful. Great discussions.

I actually enjoyed him and learned alot. The course is based on recent events , so nothing should be diffiuclt- unless you live under a rock or are retarded. 5 books, but nothing too crazy. I also found him very encouragable and helpful. 300 Level course.

This guy is nuts he gives you tons of reading to do and no time to read it the materials used are horrible you have to be a certian kind of reader to understand them then his test is pretty much a runon sentence written in a diffrent language
