Comment:

If you have to take a stats class, take it with Professor Rummel. It's an easy A. The material is fairly easy. He makes the class as painless as possible but you have to attend class. Tests are over what he teaches in class which is different than the online homework.

Comment:

Steve is a great guy but his homework is nothing like the exams. The exams are not terrible but he does not really teach he just runs through problems. The homework gets insane it is very hard and takes forever to do. You will pass if you do all the homework and study for hours for each exam get ready to work.

Comment:

I was somewhat worried about taking statistics, but Dr. Rummel simplifies the material so well you dont have to worry. However, you do have to take a few notes if you want to have the material memorize. Make sure you dont miss his class as this Can set you back way behind in the lecture. Overall amazing instructor!

Steve does a good job of helping his students to learn the information. He is VERY patient, sometimes too patient with the students that don't pay attention in class, and then ask a ton of interrupting questions that they would have known the answer to if they were paying attention.

As someone who has always struggled in math courses, this was the easiest course Ive taken so far. Prof Rummel is very insightful and teaches you everything you need to know to pass the class. Hes always willing to help you if you dont understand and is very patient. Hes very big on participation in class but other than that its super easy.

Steve Rummel is a wonderful instructor. I have never taken a statistics class before taking his so I was a bit nervous, but with him there's no reason to be. He goes over the material over and over until he's sure everyone understands, he makes study guides that are exactly like the exams. You can tell he likes teaching.

Comment:

Taking this class made me feel like I was good at math. This prof is great at teaching, makes sure you understand, and he even does a week of review before the test. As long as you go to class and pay attention during review weeks youll get a good grade. He is a fair grader as well and he is funny and entertaining. Best professor ever.

Rummel is great! He explains the course very well and makes sure we are very prepared. He barely cares about attendance and we usually have quite a few review days for each test. The tests are super close to the study guides which is awesome. He is hard to get in contact with outside class but a really easy A.

Steve is an amazing teacher. As long as you pay attention and attend class, you will pass the class with flying colors. The tests are very straight forward and he actually does study reviews for a couple of days which is very helpful if you have last minute questions. He is the one to have stats with!

Steve was awesome. Cracked me up the very first day, but was very professional and knew his stuff well throughout the semester. Highly recommend taking him!

PRO. RUMMEL is one of the best teachers I've ever had. He cracks jokes all the time in class. He's really laid back. His tests are EXACTLY the same types of questions as the study guides. I'm terrible at math,and I got an A in his stats class. Easy class if you actually go to class. You should definitely take him if you have the chance.

He is very funny and helpful. Rummel even has review days for tests, and the tests are just like the study guides. The class was easy and fun. I am not the best at math, but this class was a breeze. I wish I could have him for every math class. Don't buy the textbook. Just buy the MyMathLab software, because he teaches everything you need.

Dr. Rummel is a wonderful human being. A very knowledgeable and insightful man both in his field and seemingly life in general with a great outlook. The man keeps a nice atmosphere for his classes, which in the case of a class that is as intimidating on the surface as calculus when not a math major is pleasant. Take this man if at all possible!

Rummel is great! If I could take him for all my math classes, I definitely would! He's funny, caring, and is very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend him for math classes.

Steve is a great guy! Class is easy. The homework online and you get unlimited tries. If you show up, pay attention, and review your notes this class is an easy A. His study Textbook is a waste of money. He suggest to look into it but there is nothing in there that he doesn't cover. His study guides are exactly like the exams.

I love mr. Rummel! I got a 98% in my statistics class, he's very good at explaining and getting his point across. I thought his tests were really easy, and if he taught any other math classes I'd take him again. You won't regret taking him!

Steve is an amazing professor! He doesn't just hand you the answers, he makes you work for them but helps you along the way. You don't really use the textbook you do everything through the online stats program. His tests are just like the review, I thought stats would be awful, but his dry humor and teaching made me take interest in the class.
