I've had the pleasure of studying under "Wolf" for over 4 years. He's been an incredible influence on me as a person, trombonist, & educator. He is one of the kindest, most respectful, & most understanding teachers I've ever had--all without sacrificing quality & rigor in his curriculum. Goals are relevant & achievable, & he's a great communicator.

He found me when I was in high school and has made me into a better musician and a person. He is very knowledgeable in music and in trombone. He wants to you succeed and has had dozens of hugely successful students. He's the kind of teacher that you want to work hard for and make him proud. I'm proud to be one of his students. He's the Doctor

Comment:

Dr. Wolfinbarger was a pleasure to have as a professor. Even though this class is mainly run by the conducting graduate assistants, he still overlooks everything to make sure the labs run smoothly and always makes himself available for others when in need. He truly cares about everyone succeeding. Excellent professor who truly cares about you.

Dr. Wolfinbarger is an incredible educator. I was struggling in this course and got really behind almost to the point where there was no possible way i could get a passing c (for music classes). He was tremendously generous and offered to help me with my conducting before each exam and I passed. He was so helpful and is and inspiring leader.

He is very very nice and always very helpful. Although I was only taught by him about one a week because of Grad Assistant labs, he seemed very knowledgable. I think that he sincerely wants his students to succeed.
