Comment:

He has a very political thought process that is expressed constantly throughout the semester. The book assigned for this class is rather difficult to understand with vague explanations. He also only believes in giving a maximum grade of 95% because you'll get an A with a 95% anyways. All of this combined with being a very tough grader.

Comment:

In order to get a high grade in his class, you have to do a lot of effort in every requirement. He's a great professor! Loves to have discussions and gives great feedback on every paper. Just put time and effort in his class and you'll do good.

Unfortunately, Rosenburg isn't teaching screenwriting anymore, but I will cherish that class a lot. He is very passionate about his writing, and he is very flexible when it comes to students' late assignments. It was an amazing class, and I will never forget it.

Comment:

Professor Rosenberg is very nice and caring. Thorough with assignment instructions. Couple of papers. The work is a somewhat time consuming, but just put the effort in because it could be used to contribute to other assignments & papers. Gives great feedback. Actually looked forward to his class, and I feel like i gained a lot from his class.

Comment:

Good class, good professor, just don't try to connect with him outside of class, he is very close-minded. Most of class time is spent on discussions of the texts read at home so as long as you do that you'll be fine. He is willing to help you out and give feedback on essays which is good since he grades by a unique style.

Professor Rosenberg is truly an amazing professor. He cares about his students and their success. Hes so caring! You do have quite a few papers but if you try and he sees youre trying then youll be okay. Definitely would take him again.

There is A LOT of work for this class. The homework assignments are pages long. There is a book required to read in this class(it was hard to comprehend). He grades assignments on time and is not a tough grader on homework. If youre busy & work dont take this class. If you do your homework and show up you will pass, but it is a lot of homework.

Professor Rosenberg is an amazing professor. He really cares for his students and wants everyone to pass. He lets you turn in late work till the last day of class. There is a lot of work, but it is really easy. If you actually try, youll get an A. recommend everyone to take his class, you wont regret it.

Great teacher. I am very surprised that he is a cypress college professor, it seems hes good enough to be at a university. Stuart will follow the syllabus to the T, which in my opinion is very nice. His papers must be turned in on time and class participation is a must. Grading for papers is all based on grammar, so make sure you proof read a lot.

Professor Rosenberg is a great film teacher. He has great knowledge on each of the films we discussed in class. I overall did enjoy this class. He can be a very harsh grader when it comes to the essays. The instructions for the essays were straightforward but he grades harshly even if you provided everything he said he wanted.

If you are establish yourself as conservative, do not take this class. News at the beginning consists of countless minutes of how bad President Trump is. Other than that, he really cares about his students, and does a good job of keeping you focused in class.

He is just better than what I expect. Prof. Rosenberg does care to provide some bars if you get hungry. Thus, there is time you could get help in his office.

Rosenberg is a great prof, really extends a helping a hand to his students. This class consisted of 2 papers, readings every week from the text, and movies to watch on your own. We watched films everyday and then talked about them it was a fun. Overall, easy class make sure you go to his office hours for the essays.

I'll always remember Rosenberg's film studies class. We watched influential and compelling films that stayed with me long after they were over. We had lively discussions and read/wrote about relevant topics to the subject. It opened a door to something I had no interest in prior to the class, and I'm glad I decided to take his class. 10/10

Yo, Mr. Rosenberg is a legit and world class college professor. He's remarkable at what he does and he has a real genuine passion for helping his students. It's truly admirable. I never once left his class feeling like I wasted my time. If all college professors were like Rosenberg, the future would be in great hands. World class

Professor Rosenberg is awesome! Although he is a tough grader, he genuinely wants you to succeed. He does not offer extra credit but he has a lot of assignments and papers. So there are a lot of points in the class that people can get. Attendance counts, in fact, you get points for being there.

Comment:

The class focused on studying feminism and we had a lot of female classmate in class. It appears that he is an easy grader to many female students, however, no matter how hard i try, i barely managed to get C from his class. I actually got helped from my english major friend assisting me on writing assignments and got a C regardless.
