She is a wonderful person but horrible Professor. She thinks everyone is as smart as she is, and if youre not, shell let you know. Shes respected by others for her intelligence but she gets criticized for her grading and course load by every student and professor. Horrible experience.

This professor is SO different in class than she is in her office. In class she's funny and seems like a sweet lady. Meet with her in person? She'll tell you that you "don't have the intellectual capacity for the course." Because of her, I changed my major. Hardest class I've ever taken. Not helpful- She'll send you to tutoring instead of helping.

Dr. Mercier is the BEST professor I have ever had, hands down. She is very smart, yet able to articulate the subject material so that students can understand it. She is also so willing to help whenever you need it. I love her class! Its hard, but if you pay attention in class and do the study guides you'll be fine.

Mercier very passionate in her work field and she loves talking about sports. Classes are very intestering and she explains material so you will understand, if you ask. She is a fair/hard grader of paper, but gets extra credit questions on exams.
