I see a lot of people on here complaining about their grades and believe me I understand. But my experience was much different. She was always willing to answer my questions and was very helpful. My first essay I got a 75% and that scared me but I stuck with it and ended up with an A in the class. Hard work pays off.

She is ridiculous.if you ask her for help she yells at your for not knowing what your freaking asking her for. Even if she is not busy. One day she told us that we could do peer review and ask her questions and she got mad at someone for asking her a question on MLA. I mean, she's a teacher we pay to learn and pick her brain. Then if you go against her opinion in an essay you should expect nothing over a C. The only person in my class to get a B in an essay intimidated her into it. She's so dumb

She thinks she's the best teacher in Ohlone. She seems irratated any time u ask her a question. U will never get an A on her class. She's hates people. She'll just give u C- or D- ...Don't take her if u want ur GPA to not to be ruined cuz it's hard to get a C or B on her class. Ohlone College should kick this teacher out of the campus..i hate her!!

I'm a good writer with a strong background in literature and English. This teacher doesn't know jack. She tinks that because she went to USC her job is to give everyone a poor grade. I wrote papers that she couldn't stop bragging about, but i got a C.. WTF?! don't take her she won't teach you anything and will just piss you off the whole semester.

To me, she was a very easy teacher. She always talked about how well I do on my work, yet she has never given me an A? I have the highest grade in my class and I have a B. It's pretty much impossible to get an A! Her class is easy but don't take her class if you can't settle for a B grade at the highest.

Very hard grader. Recommended me to get a tutor on how to write essays AFTER THE FIRST PAPER. I was an AP student in HS! 4.0 GPA and I got comments like that. If you're registering for english, do not get her. Shes a pain in the ass.

If you want a class where you have to work hard then this is the teacher for you! she gives SOOO MUCH homework but it will help you with your essays no doubt about that. Although i dreaded going to her class i realized how much better i got at writing essays.

She does not seem interested in helping her students. She does not listen to student questions and instead assumes what you may be asking. Even stopping by her office for help I was told she didn't have time to give me anything more than what she put on my paper. Regards reusing even one word from a source was as plagiarism. NOT recommended.

Mrs. Cunningham was what I would expect in a college class. Homework was steady but reasonable. I felt that she treated me fairly. I was happy with the end result. It helps alot to go meet with her in her office and get her input on how you can improve.

Strict teacher, gets down to business great for learning. If you pay attention in class and go to every session, get help when needed you should do fine. She teaches things clearly and direct. She uses the text book quite often, lots of essays but it prepares you for English 101.

Mrs. Cunningham is a hard grader, but as long as you pay attention and go to her office hours for help, you'll will pass with a B or higher. The only people that write that she is a bad teacher are the ones who failed. yea her work might be a little challenging, but at least you will learn something!
