Comment:
Dr. Smith is extremely inconsistent in grading. She's hypocritical; she doesn't want you to read from the slides when you're presenting, yet she has no problem doing it. She treats her students like children i.e. taking phones away. She also doesn't accept criticism. Worst teacher I have ever had in my life. The class itself was fine, she's not.

Class project is extremely good experience of working in teams (for better or for worse). Powerpoints are dry but looking back after getting a job in Software Testing they were GOLDEN. Save these lecture slides if you are EVER going to work in industry on team projects. Knowledge from this class won me a job over 40+ other applicants.

She is a lecturer, likes power points. Dry personality. She will help you if you ask and will give you extra time for your projects if you need it. Ask questions to get the most from her. ok class, at times it was very interesting. final project can be fun if you're willing to put effort into it.

The quizzes and final are easy enough if you take the time to do the study guide she provides. The lowest quiz grade was dropped (out of 6). My only issue with this professor was the helpfulness on the team project. When grading material, she has a list of key words she is looking for, and if you do not include them, she will not give you credit.

She took 1200 material and didn't really add much to it. She seemed to spend a lot of time trying to police students who were surfing the internet instead of focusing on her lectures, and she comes off as more of a middle school teacher in her mannerisms. She is nice and fair, though, as long as you like PowerPoint.

Fine professor. Be prepared for class -- print out the powerpoint lecture slides beforehand. Engage the material in a serious manner and ask questions. Smith is fair in her quizzes and grading assignments. Others who gave her a low rating here are not serious about their education and are whiners.

Awesome. She will do whatever it takes to help you get the stuff. If you go and ask for help, the class isn't bad at all. If your not willing to put in the time, neither is she. Just show interest, she'll help you out in every way. Great teacher and really cares and knows about her stuff

DO NOT TAKE!!! As by far the worst professor that I have ever encountered in my 5 year college career, Suzanne Smith is by far the least knowledgeable professor I have ever met. She refuses to be helpful toward her students, and treats anyone who asks a question like they are not worth her time. DO NOT TAKE AT ANY COST!!

She is not bad for SE2. Pretty easy actually. She gives you a list of all deliverables and the due dates for them. More than willing to help you if you ask. You will have problems if you do not study for her quizes. Documentation must be done early. Lazy people will fail this class, as it should be.

She is the worst you might possibly take for software engineering II. she does not know the proccess and still teaching what she used to teach on SE-1. If god wants a (female god) to teach, he acomplished. Don't Even Think about taking her as a teacher at least for SE 2.

Taught HTML but seemed like she wasn't really clear on what she was talking about. Why introduce Dreamweaver if all you can take tests with is notepad? Not hard, but not very informative.

I don't know how she is for CSCI 1250, but for Software Engineering she is terrible! Will not make up her mind on what she wants students to do on software documents. Her test review sheets turn out to be 20+ pages of notes that you will need to regurgatate for each exam. Stay away form for 3250.

Good teacher. Glad to help in any way possible. Tests arent that bad, and programming assignemnts are pretty easy. Sometimes the lectures would get a little boring, but overall a good teacher.
