Tanya is a great resource when looking for an internship. She will set up meetings with you bi-weekly until you get one secured, and will help you if you have any questions at all along the way. The class has 2 easy exams, but if you do all the homework assignments, you can get lower scores on the exams and still pass with an A.

Tanya is clear, honest, and to the point. Turn on your brain and do the work. Useful class, expect to work outside of class if you want a decent grade. Everyone says she's mean, but that's if your lazy and disrespectful. She's willing to spend the time teaching, get off your but and do the work!

After entering the so called real world i have realized that the majority of instructors in this department had no idea what they were talking abvout. While Tanya can be very nice at times she is very unhelpful. She would not provide extra help outside of class and her lack of clarity made her deadlines confusing.

Most of you guys are right on. Tanya has some type of split personality disorder. She is rude and unhelpful, I haven't had a class with her, but have had to deal with her on a different level. Not sure what is wrong w/her!

I'm not a FAMD major and took an HEV class for an elective. I knew nothing about this professor and I found her to be one of the worst I have ever had. Her attitude towards students is horrible. She shows little respect. Not recommended.
