There's probably no other professor as hilarious and fun as him. he makes lectures very easy to understand, he likes to joke around, and you'll definitely see him talk about his cat Sofi a lot. He's also a gamer so he's super relatable. He's amazing as long as you don't interrupt his class or misbehave. Totally recommend. You won't regret it.

Comment:

My favorite professor I've had. Cares about his students and really wants everyone to pass. His lectures are actually fun and made me want to learn. Tests were based on what he talked about in class, so really as long as you pay attention, you're good. I would definitely take one of his classes again.

His class is very easy to pass. The tests are basically based on the powerpoints and he gives a lot of extra credit (i.e. clicker questions). Lectures go pretty fast but there were many helpful LAs in class. In-class assignments done in groups ������. Be aware of the head LA lol...

The best biology teacher at FIU! No homework (just read before class to be prepared), very funny and energetic. If you study, you will pass. There are lots of extra credit opportunities that will boost your grade!

Best biology professor at FIU, hilarious and very sarcastic but teaches in a way that someone with no biology background can learn. Lots of extra credit opportunities: PLTL, review sessions (comes with a review packet), clicker questions during class. no way you can fail this class if you at least put effort into attending class and studying.

This man is the MAN. The instructions to passing this class are very simple. Go, listen, take notes, WATCH THE VIDEOS, and you will pass. He cares about everyone who cares about the class. 4 exams no final and no midterm and minimal homework if any at all. Plenty of extra credit and easy questions on the exam. He loves what he does and it's clear.

super easy and funny. he says the textbook is mandatory but it really isnt his tests are straight from his powerpoints. extracredit is given via inclass clicker points (you have to physically be in class) and giveaway questions on the exams. the exams themselves are super easy got 100%+ on all of them. if you see his name take him hes the man

He is so enthusiastic about teaching and about biology and you can really tell. He makes sure absolutely everyone understands a concept, there is in-class group work that is actually useful and easy. His exams are super fair and straightforward. Tons of extra credit with a clicker. Attendance isn't mandatory but I recommend going, it's worth it.

He has four tests and they are very straight forward. Everything that is on his powerpoint is on his test. He is so funny and cares about his students. You have to study for his test to pass. Take him you won't regret it!

Best teacher I've had to far. He's super funny and knows how to explain the topic. The tests are mostly off the powerpoints and the study guide he provides. PLEASE do not take any other BSC1010 teachers other than maybe Gavasa but Pitzer is the best by far.

Pitzer is definitely one of the best professors at FIU. Hes really funny and caring and wants his students to pass. His tests are fair and if you study his PowerPoints you will pass.
