Was obvious she was building class as she went. I didn't learn anything. The 1st 3 weeks were wasted, we did nothing. Blamed us for not understanding her instructions which were unorganized and scattered. Had to teach myself the material in her bad powerpoints. Grades easily though. If you don't care about not learning, she gives easy A's for work

The beginning of the semester is sorta fun, until you realize that the entire class is online. There's no point to showing up but attendance is mandatory and if you miss 4 classes you can be dropped. Has an accent, asks "do you understand" a lot, very nice but the assignment due dates are scattered and confusing. Lectures while everyone ignores her

Had her online, was a very frustrating class. Assignments were not clear, and when trying to get a hold of her it took DAYS to get a response. Wouldn't allow or would grade harsher with subjects she did not agree on. Stay away

Teacher has many personal issues that have come out in class. She is hard to understand and voice is absolutely annoying, making it hard to stay interested. Grades fairly hard and is very dominate towards males, could be the Cantonese background. Idolizes prodigies and leaves others behind. Creates a stratified classroom. Steer Clear of this one.

She is a nice person but when I took her class she took forever to return your papers and grade them. She had you write a lot of papers and they were on crazy subjects. It was weird that she is an English teacher but cannot speak English very well.

I agree w/ the comments already posted. She assigns tons of busywork and changes the syllabus up to the last minute.

Very kind, caring, dedicated teacher. Her class is not my favorite, as the topics are not what I expected. The text is secondary to the HUGE, ongoing project. Too many assignments, and be ready for public speaking! Not a terrible course, but not among the best.

Too many assignments and no clear point to connect them. It's work for work's sake and little else.

She can barely speak English! She makes her students write a grip of papers, and all the papers you write in her class are on stupid issues. Do not take her class!!!!!11

Hard work, but if you love literature and are a good writer, you'll do fine.
