Timothy Paci is one of the best profs at UW, and you are lucky if you take his class. He can make difficult or boring information seem interesting and going to lectures resulted in me really learning and understanding the material. He is also very nice when you go to him for feedback on assignments or tests.

Mandatory course for me and there was tons of group work (which I don't like). Tim is very understanding though. Nice prof, great guy. Just rambles in his lectures a bit and goes off topic .... Very fair grader though!

Tim is a great lecturer; he makes the class interesting. But his marking scheme is very confusing and you can wind up losing a lot of marks without really knowing what went wrong. It seems like you answer test questions fully but, lo and behold, there can be a tidbit you miss and your mark drops significantly..

All around solid prof and I would be happy to have him again. Would be appreciated if he was faster at the end of the term giving back students their grades. Profs set strict deadlines for assignments all year that can sometimes be tough to get the assignments completed adequately in time, then end up taking their time at the end of the year.

Tim is the man! Great guy, really smart. Knows his stuff. He's very approachable outside of class, and is fun to joke with. Has hilarious sense of style (yay sweatervests)! Take a class with him if you can, he's a gem with a passion for communication!
