if you respect your self, you won't take ANY class by her. she is the most unreasonable grader, makes you sign up/pay for online HW websites you use a handful times, she gives unreasonable time limits on quizzes then expects you to upload a photo of your written work in that time frame, then offers zero help when you email her for help :) good luck

This was my second time taking Mat121 and I really liked Trask! Shes probably one of the best for ISU standards. She makes videos explaining the topic the night before and gives you the problems so you use the class period reviewing and asking questions. Go to office hours, she gives extra credit at the end to whoever went the most!

This is the most difficult class at ISU so I beg of you please don't take it through ISU if at all possible. BUT if you absolutely have to take it through ISU then take Dr. Trask. She really is a great teacher but the course material is extremely difficult. Dr. Trask will NOT round grades no matter what so keep that in mind.

The worst professor Ive ever had! Do not take this class with her. I do hours of homework that isnt for a grade to come to class and take a pop quiz that is unlike the homework. She would tell us that we would have quizzes and we would get to class and we wouldnt have them. I would study for hours and neglect other hw for us to not have a quiz.

She expects you to learn the material right away and always has an attitude if the class doesn't answer a question also she's very condescending and likes to belittle her students truly the worst professor I have ever taken. Also even if you do comprehend the material she takes off points for every little thing.

Do yourself a favor, DO NOT TAKE CALC FROM THIS TEACHER. I will always remember her as the WORST teacher I have ever had. Our entire class gets D's & F's on tests on a regular basis & Tisa thinks it's funny. Who does that? Does she care if her students succeed, at all? NO. She is the only teacher I have ever seen belittle a student for asking a ?

She reallyyyy cares about helping students! Math 121 was very hard but she made sure that you understood always gave you the ability to always come to her with questions. Quizzes everyday but THEY REALLY HELP! All you have to do is study!

Shes really good at her job. Shes there to teach and thats what she does. Shes VERY monotone, so it can be a little hard to pay attention. Her jokes are hard to catch, but if you do, theyre funny.

The class consisted of watching her do a few problems as quickly as she could. Rarely stayed an entire 50 min. She flat out said she was here another year for her health care, otherwise she is looking for a new job; this attitude is EXTREMELY evident. She can be funny & was an easy class to come to, but wasn't fun when the hard final came.

I absolutely loved having Mrs. T! I took both MAT120&MAT121 with her. She makes coming to class fun, and truly cares about teaching the material in a clear and easy way. She doesn't grade homework, but do it anyway because there are "pop" (she hints before) quizzes frequently. Don't buy the book for 121. She also encourages coming to office hours.

If you like to learn from PDF files. She would be your teacher to take. She doesn't explain anything she just puts up a PDF file and next to it she puts up a problem and does the problem without explaining how we are doing it. She is a tough grader when it comes to tests and quizzes.

Not a fan of this teacher. She has a bit of a snarky attitude. There's no doubt she's intelligent but she's not a gifted teacher. I knew all of the material going into the class from HS but still did poorly on a few tests because of her relentless nitpicking of my work. There are plenty of calc resources on the internet. Use them if you struggle.

She's great and works with you to try and help. You have to pay attention and take notes to do well. Doing Homework isn't necessary, but it helps SO MUCH. My lowest test so far is a 90. Hoping I get her for MAT121

This is the hardest class I have taken in college by far. Ms. Trask is very strict and specific in what she wants. Her expectations for the class are very clear from the first day of class. She wants you to know a lot of specific rules for tests and quizzes. For quizzes you can work with a partner. Recommend taking this class at community college
