This is the best class I've ever taken. Dr. Peters teaches with enthusiasm, which makes her lectures interesting. There is a lot of work, which is intimidating at first, but if you invest the time you will become a better writer and researcher as a result of the assignments. She is very encouraging when you get to know her!! Take this class.

This is the best class I have ever taken. Dr. Peters teaches with enthusiasm, which makes her lectures interesting. There is a lot of reading and writing, which seems daunting at first, but the assignments truly help you learn how to be a scholar. She is also so encouraging when you take time to get to know her!

Dr. Peters is an AMAZING professor and art historian. She has an extremely broad range of knowledge and is extremely helpful. Although, knowing specifics if KEY for her classes. And she really does teach from the book so they are worth the price. Shes always willing to help and make exceptions. Take advantage of office hours and in class groups!

Dr. Peters is an amazing professor. She cares so much about her students and will do whatever she can to make sure her students understand the material. You will learn so much in this class and enjoy it at the same time. Just do the readings and participate in class.

17th cent dutch. alot of completion assignments due weekly (that arent worth much), but they help you discuss in class/work towards your research paper. really flexible when picking research topic. really helpful and encouraging in and out of class. really appreciates a little extra effort/a real understanding of the texts. overall good class.

this woman is awesome. i've never had such a nice teacher that ACTUALLY cared about my grade. i did bad on a test and she told me to see her after class. she wanted to know why i did bad and let me do some extra credit. i was shocked, but loved her as a teacher from that moment on. she gives great and very helpful advice. best teacher i think

Peters is one of my favorite professors. The majority of my portfolio consists of papers written for her classes. Has a tremendous grasp of AH and relays the info easily. I actually looked forward to going to class- which is more than I can say for other classes in the art history dept.

Jane is strikingly intelligent and very good at pushing students to do the very best they possibly can. You will turn out some excellent material if you take her class-- and probably will enjoy it if you let her infectious "peppiness" influence you.
