He created interest in the subject with his design based problems. Replies to the emails, and held separate tutorials for the subject. Removed the useless theory and taught the practical part of control system that we're actually gonna use. Must take it if you wanna go into controls.

One smart man, who holds skills in both practical and theoretical knowledge. He's been in the field and done some excellent things. He focuses on the relevant material and keeps it simple. Funny and creepy all at once, I've learned so much from this man.

Not bad I guess, I got my lowest marks in University on 2 of his tests, yet pulled out an 81% in the class overall. Don't know how that works. *shrug* I personally couldn't grasp what he was trying to say in his writing almost all the time, his way of speaking is just too different from mine. If you don't have that problem, you should like him.

Truly knows what is important and how to teach it. Commonly sardonic, often hilarious, and always thought provoking, Conroy's classes are taught the way a class should be. Everything is relevant so be prepared to work.

Tom is a good, ****-free prof who has worked in industry, knows what he's talking about, and is able to teach it. His classes are not easy, and you have to work to get a good grade, but you'll actually learn something. Unlike some other professors, Tom does not tolerate cheating (the seating plan was a one-semester effort to catch cheaters).
