Valerie is AWESOME!!! I was very nervous but she made the class fun, and understandable! All I can say is I wish she was teaching 131! If you need help go to office hours she's good about helping you!!

Comment:

Mosser is a really good chemistry teacher. She understands that chem is not everyones favorite subject! Her lectures were clear and easy to understand. I would recommend this class to those people like me who dont like chemistry but want an A!

For tests, she said we did not have to memorize terms, and that formulas would be given to us on the tests. Well, when it was test time, no formulas were given, and a good portion of the test was filling in terms. Overall, not a clear teacher.

Her philosophy is that she is not at GRCC to be a teacher, but to be a "guider." This means of course, that she doesn't teach.If you have a question, she will most likely direct you to another student rather than answering it herself. Not recomm
