Mrs. Brown is a very nice lady, and although she is not the best professor, she is not out to get anyone and wants everyone to succeed. She is very clear about what will be on tests and on the final so if you put the time in studying and understand the material, then an A is definitely possible.

if you haven't taken calc before avoid this class at all costs. She has no lesson plan or structure, and her class consists of her proving that she can solve a problem for the most part. Doesn't check or go over homework, office hours aren't really a thing, expect to teach the course to yourself. also gives quizzes the night before vacations.

She reads from the book. She does not teach she shows how to do the problem. Teaching is giving a general understanding of how to do certain types of problems, while her showing was like saying this is the answer because it's the answer. Worst math teacher ever, and I've never gotten below an A in any math course before .

EASY class. She is a little scattered sometimes, but the topics are easy, if a little abstract. She actually does teach programming at the local high school, so her mind is often still there when she comes to class. Very helpful, easy to get a good grade.

She is a kind teacher, she really tries to work with the students. Not a particularly difficult class. The class itself is a bit abstract because of the textbook and material, but definitely worth taking. Really able to apply some of the material to life, such as finance and loan amortization.

If I can say one thing for sure it's PATHETIC! This woman is a joke! She didn't teach a thing to the class, read from the book each class, half the time had to check her answers in the back to discover they were wrong. Didn't work well with students was unclear and didn't want to be there. Add-drop!

Umm to the previous comments....she doesn't even teach programing. the name "Brown" can be confusing. Anyway Mrs. Brown is the GREATEST teacher. I hate math but she definitely made me have an appreciation. Test and quizzes are exactly like the homework so do your homework, ask questions, and you'll get a definite A.

I hated math but now i have a huge appreciation and tolerance for it. loves her students. Stay after class for help...all you have to do is ask! short easy quizzes exactly like homework problems. Pay attention because if you dont understand it now then you never will. and FYI she does not even tech programing...you've got the wrong "brown".

I just needed a refresher from high school and she hit all the right topics. Good handouts, a project and use of blackboard made the class relatively easy to follow. Mrs. Brown will gladly help you with any problems - all you have to do is ask!
