Evil. She is very knowledgeable about the content. She is very hard and very mean about it. It's one thing to be difficult bu she is very degrading and discouraging. She treats you like you're a piece of trash. Test are very hard. Quizzes are moderate. A lot of outside practice is required. I had to get a tutor. 75% of class withdrew.

Mrs. Rhodes is my favorite. She is very strict, and expects a lot from her students. She will help the students that try, and some students don't try so she is mean to them. I have always been her best student,and i love her. you just have to push yourself. I love her 3

Does not go over material thorough enough. Assumes that students remember everything from their past math courses. Quizzes do not match up with the material gone over in class. Not thorough enough and a big stress on that! When introducing new problems to the class she does it in somewhat of a rush with a condescending tone of voice!

Worst professor ever. Don't see how she got hired to be honest. She laughs at students who mess up as well. It's actually not a laugh it's more of a cough which is annoying and you hear it constantly. In my opinion if you want to pass 112 take it with Brian Smith in the math lab it's much easier.

I tried extremely hard to do well in this class. I studied for tests for hours and hours and received a F on every single one of them. I dropped the class and literally did a happy dance when I walked out of that class the last time. She's rude, very confusing, and does not take time to answer your questions. I'm warning you.

"Those who can't do, teach" applies to her but in reverse. She can do math all day long, but has NO propensity for teaching. She is rude and won't think twice about embarassing you in front of the entire class. Only teaches from her own notes so don't bother following along in the book. DO NOT TAKE ANY CLASS UNDER THIS WOMAN, if at all possible.

Mrs. Rhodes is nice, but like everyone has said she talks to fast, and doesnt explain things. The only problems she works are the ones worked in the book. If she would slow down and try to actually answer questions with directions on how to work problems instead of trying to make us figure things out we have never seen before the class would be ok

Well...what can you say? I feel bad for her after reading all those comments because I think she is generally a good person. Im sure outside the classroom she is a wonderful lady BUT if not for having math genius as my roomate I would probably be in trouble! :( Maybe she didn't intend on teaching as a career or something.

HORRRID! Talks three times the speed of sound and never slows down expects you to knopw everything and move at her pace. In all defense she is a nice lady but there is no way I could have completed her class because I just simply didnt learn anything and couldnt. Unless you are a math genuis I would not recommend her class.

took math 112, just can't understand her at all, she gets confused all the time, tries to help but just can't, basically have to use a book or a tutor the whole class but she doesn't like you to use tutors, makes you work problems on her tests like they work them in the book, took same class in high school, made A's, just got confused in her class
