Nice guy. Uses textbook too much and it can get redundant. But fair tests. Need to study for quizzes. He gives fair warning. Compositions are easy. Grammar can get confusing, but he is willing to help and easy to get in touch with.

Comment:

Great teacher, very nit picky grading assignments, but what language teacher isn't? The online exercises can be a pain, but they help a lot. Tells you exactly what will be on a test, no surprises. Really wants everyone to do well and very understanding.

Good enough guy, just a horribly unfair grader. tests are pure translation, few do well. will take off points for words you have never learned before, even if you get the grammar correct.

Nice professor. I like how he teaches, but his grading is NOT fair on Homework. There are two parts of homework, CD exercises and work book pages. CD excercises are and easy 3/3 points, but how he grades the "Accionaes" in the workbook is not fair. For ex., I has one error on an activity and received a 2/3, whereas my fried had 3 errors, got 3/3.

He is a nice guy and loves the subject matter BUT since this class is his baby, he requires a lot of you. Be prepared to do hours of volunteering a week and to drive yourself 45 min away to get there. I'm not particularly happy with the setup of class time. I am disappointed as I was really interested in the subject matter before this class.

This professor is awesome. Tests are not bad, he is very understanding and even pulls out the occasionaly good joke. You will enjoy his class.
